Wishing safe return Hey Laura and Nick! I have enjoyed following your blog so much this last month. You know how I love to live vicariously through your adventures! Honestly, I think my favorite stop was the little farm town town in the mountains that serves cheese and pickles for dinner. I think I might have been Heidi in a past life:) Have a safe and smooth journey home. I miss you and when you're all settled back into Pacific time let me know when I can see you this summer!
Sound of Music Tour Let's start at the very beginning...a very good place to start...when you read you begin with ABC...when you sing you begin with Do Re Mi...Laura Lee, I hope you're singing all of the "Sound of Music" songs at the top of your lungs and don't ever forget "When the Lord closes the door, he always opens a window!" Miss you both tons and love you with alllllllllllll my heart!!! Mom
Love your Blogs and pictures! Hi, Laura and Nick -- I am now home from the rehab "home" - doing a lot better -- I am thrilled by your pictures and stories..Laura, you are truly a wonderful writer...I love you guys!!!
Stay healthy and having a wonderful time.
Hugs and Love, G'ma Nonie and Grandpa Dave
I wanna go Hi Nick and Laura
Your blog is the coolest postcard I've ever received! Your pictures make me very jealous. I think if I found a restaurant that had excellent gnocchi and wine that I'd change my plans and spend a week there, fattening up. The world can wait... for me and my gnocchi ;)
Lisa and I golfed with Karen and Alan last Friday. Without gnocchi we had to resort to grilled salmon and an overabundance of fine wine. We had fun playing golf without keeping score. That way we can focus on the company and conversation without being interrupted with "math problems" every fifteen minutes or so ;-)
Keep up the great blog!
Randy and Lisa

3 ingredients for a Parisian picnic... 1)baguette....check!
2)block of cheese....check!
3)bottle of wine....check!
looks like you've got yourself a successful picnic, there.
Ok. I'm all caught up. Alright, I'm all caught up on your adventures as of Mother's Day. That must have been a treat revisiting your home in Spain and getting to show Nick where you studied. Tell me, did HE write the blog for Paris? I was a little confused there. I'm kind of not surprised that Paris wasn't your fav place so far. Seeing your pictures of the UK made me so jealous. I dream of visiting England sometime. And the mountains of Switzerland are stunning. I could imagine bunkering down in a snowy village like that for a traditional Christmas! wouldn't that be lovely? Haha like Leavenworth only authentic and exciting! I'm so happy for you guys and your journey you're taking together. I'm feeling inspired now for some travel. Can't wait for more blogging. Sure miss you guys. oh! btw, i'm not taking summer classes this summer so i'll be free-er. please tell me we can see each other and i can give you lots of hugs when you get back;)
One Horse Town? So let me get this straight, you traveled 3000 miles to go to a town with only one tavern to look at cows and talk about basketball....Hummmmmmm...hahahaha
Nice blog! I love your blog, and am so glad to receive it. I am so jealous of your amazing adventure. Laura, you are a great descriptive travel writer. Thanks for the pictures also. It feels like I'm enjoying the trip too!
Best wishes on your travels,
Randy Smith
