Belated B'day wishes Hi guys!
Lop - many many (many) happy returns, even if they are belated!
All change here - on garden leave for 6 weeks and work have disconnected my broadband, hence the lack of on time birthday stuff.
Sounds like you're still having a blast - keep those blogs coming!
Love to you both.
Happy birthday!!! Hi Nick, Sorry you had such a rubbish birthday, but the chinese afterwards (and the cranberries music) sounds like it made up for it! I would just like to say 1) I told you that you needed to take a spare pair of glasses, and di you listen??!! No, as usual. 2) the photos are hilarious, from a distance I thought Mark was looking at a body builders website until I got closer and saw it was you with a tray of clingfilmed pastries, and 3) I really wish you had taken a photo of the Edith Piaf/ George Michael picture - and which one was it?!
Glad you're having a lovely time, it's fab to hear from you xx
HA HA YOU ARE SO OOOOOOOOOLDDDD happy birthday mate! So hows it feel to be 33? Are the joints creaking that little bit more? Take a little longer to clear your thoughts and remember where you are in the morning? Vision a little fuzzy from time to time? Grey hairs enveloping your head like the scary girl from the Grudge? Getting fed up of these stupid questions?
Yes.............
How is everything going? Hope you and Kris are both well and enjoying the trip still. Must be slightly wierd celebrating your birthday in Chile rather than the sunny climes of South-East England. How much longer do you have now?
All is well in London, Shermayne is off to New York this coming weekend for a 'business' trip....for business read shopping. I am on half term and trying to do some serious flat hunting. Yeah yeah I know.
Well I hope you have a suitably special day, I think just the fact that you are in South America should make it pretty unique as far as birthdays go. Keep the blog updates coming mate, and best wishes to both of you.
Nick, on half term, doing nothing except listening to birdsong
Latin-American Men Hi Alessia, I can confirm that the Chilean man are no worse than the Argentine - a drop of indian blood really compliments their masculine features ;) I'll take some pics for you :) Kris
Ewan MacGreggor Funny you said this because I made the exact same remark this morning when he returned from the shower, his hair combed neatly over his head ;) Well, he was pleased. I think he finds EMC v. handsome ;))
We are having a great time and I must confess that I DO NOT miss work at all... :)) I haven't made up my mind yet whether I will retrun to work on the 2nd January or not....
Even though I'm not there, I hope you hear my little voice every now and then reminding you to take breaks and leave work on time!!! If not, I'll make sure Steve and Ali will me on your case! :)
Take good care of yourself and the bump.
Love, Kris
How are the backsides with all the miles you're doing?
What's the oil "mist" like on the FD gaitor? Mine had a dribble after a long (comparative to you both!) hot thrash, when the hot spell was going on in the UK, about 32 degree C as I remember. Since then just like yours, more a witness that there's oil in the bike somewhere.
Stll envious...........................
bloody envious, just been to Tesco, whoopee, highlight of the weekend, hope not.

no yoga for you Dear Nick
I am soooooooooooooooooooooooo happy I can read every step of your trip; it all sound extremely fascinating and wonderful that it makes me dream (and want to start planning to go there and see it by myself!). Moreover, it has got some kind of calming therapeutic effect on me, after my stressful days at work. I am sure all those beautiful landscapes are contributing to mind relaxation (...no more yoga for you...).
Beauty of nature aside, those argentinian stakes are something to dream about..................................................
Dear Kristina
nice to meet you electronically.
I was quite interested in your description of rather handsome argentinian men...........then, you carried on describing cows and whales............... :-)))))
The sunset over Pacific must have been such a romantic view; that is my favourite photo so far!
Take care
Alessia
Your stuff Guys,
The stuff has arrived at the flat. You really didn´t have to give us anything but thanks.
Please note that ´Remitente´means ´Sender´ and ´Destinatario´ ´Receiver´ not the other way around. THis had the postman very confused and much discussion was required...

Mendoza... what a place!!! Hi Nick and Kris, I told you it was a goodie! Delighted to hear that you both enjoyed the city, S. was very pleased to meet you both. Maybe see you out there before you return? Hope the route to Chile is not too cold, the landscape up through Uspallata you will enjoy...!!! Salud y muchas suerte en la ruta chicos... Charlie.
Lucky you! It all sounds so very beautiful. Here in Slough it's raining and grey. Boooo! Nick looks as though he is getting the Euan Magreggor (?sp?) look with the beard - very "in"! Baby is kicking a lot - getting big now! Only 8 weeks to go!!!!! Keep well. Elena
Guys,
I can imagine the pain of spending a night listening to loud music, when all you want to do is sleep. Nick, I'll get your coat, Con door indeed!

Hi guys quick note to let you know i am proud owner of new job and will be leaving ORIOn on the 16th NOv will let you knwo my new email as soon as i can.Karyn
blah, blah, blah.... OK, I get the point, you're having a wonderful, if occasionally scary time whilst the rest of us trudge into work each day facing the dull, fog enshrouded M4, sit in an office with computers that don't work properly and then go home only to start it all again the next day. Not that I'm jealous much!
It would appear that Baz's comment about "when" you fall off rather than "if" was all too true. Glad it wasn't serious and I hope the bruising has subsided.
Nick - what are you doing next Monday? Any interesting South American style celebrations planned?
Take care.
Lol

North is always good... ah, you jammy kiddies - keep your chins up and take every choice with that same blind spirit of adventure and I firmly believe your trip will be more magnificent than any amount of pre-planning could achieve! Its are all about seizing the moment - so be CRAZY! Now, seriously, dont forget us poor, suffering, city-rats who are doomed to a drizzley winter of discontent. Whilst you are blown around those picturesque landscapes, we have been sitting in grounded traffic... walking past miles of abandoned buses and sleeping car drivers from Notting Hill to Barnes in yesterday's idiotic jam, I thought of you pioneers escaping it all... so make every second count out there, for our sakes :) Jo X
Trev! Glad you enjoy the entries. We've taken about 700 between us, so far but we have a storage device of 40GB so we should be fine, particularly as we are trying to use the compacts or most of it and only my biggie for wildlife etc as these images are a lot bigger.
We have not posted so many yet as we often have to allow 5-10 mins per download...on a good day!
Either way, if you keep reading, we'll keep posting!!
Cheers, and I'll show the other 96% of them once I'm back in 2007!
Nick
Add me too... Hi Nick,

Dune: or atleast dunes, and lots of them... Two things I would add:
1 A few doses of the Spice and you soon don't care if you fall off...
2 If I had the Baron's flying suit, falling off would not be a problem either...
"My Baron, your skin diseases are love to me...." Urrgh!
Nick and Kristina (High-Mother of the Benejezzeret)
Guys, Ref. your Wednesday comments about fearing every wobble will spit you off........ NO IT WONT, HAVE FAITH. This will seem an unbelievably funny moment in the future.

Hi Both Hey Nicky....
Sad about the spill you had, but hey... you survived and your bike is fine!!!! You are right.. you cant stress about it. You will get your confidence back again as soon as you can open up that throttle again and let her rip on the open roads!! At least you didn't hurt your back again! ;o)
You are greatly missed here at work and I really enjoyed reading both yours and Kris' entries... very funny!!
Put in more pictures!!! Want to see more of the country side and the two of you posing together!!! ha ha ...
Enjoy and chat soon!!
