The Dalton Highway Hi Jackie,
Thanks for taking the time out to read this blog. In 2013 I hope to come back to the UK and set off from Devon and ride back to Canada via Europe,Russia and Mongolia. I'll be extending this blog to encompass that trip too. If you can ever get out to the Dalton highway I would certainly recommend it because of the raw beauty inside the Arctic Circle in the summer!
Kindest regards
Nevil
prudhoe bay hi as you can guess from my name im very interested about prudhoe bay and what it looks like around there, having watched ice road truckers on tv ive seen that its basically an industrial area however your photo,s show that its also very beautiful. as i live in the uk visiting there myself is a remote possibility so thank you for letting me see it through you, good luck. jackie prudhoe
Awesome! So it looks as if Nev has got the adventure bug!!! Be great if you could weave S. America into your itinerary :) You can catch a boat from Colon Panama to Cartagena Colombia.
Welcome Back Hopefully see you soon... I ve brought that consignment of Preparation H you ordered .. extra strong... with the special applicator.
Dont use it all in one go.

Next time Well done for finishing the blog...it only took a 45 minute call with your big bruv to nag you to get it done!
As you made it look so easy I'd like to suggest you do it on a unicycle next time?
Sept/Oct visit Nevil
Looks like you are almost home if not already. Not to rush you , but maybe a short visit is in order into the fall sometime. Doug and I would like to make a trip to the hills (Canmore ) for a chat , so let me know when would be a good time. Cheers- Bob
Hi Tracy,
I'm truly dissapointed that I missed Atlin. It's a place I've been wanting to see for a few years now. There will be a day when i get there in the not too distant future for sure! Glad to "know" someone from Atlin for sure. Please keep reading the blog!
Kindest regards
Nevil
Missed Atlin It's really to bad you missed Atlin, it's one of the most beautiful places in Canada. The nickname for Atlin is Little Switzerland of the North and it really is. I lived there for a lot of summers and a couple winters. I owned the first Video store there. My parents were gold miners there, many go there to mine for the summers. You'll have to get there if you have a next time for sure!
boo! Hey.....sounds like your having a great time Nev.....hope you make it down to Panama next trip.....much more interesting and exciting in my biased opinion. Good to see you using eh? in your last commentary.....spoken like a true canuck mate.
A rattle free front end Dear Mr.Stow
If you had purchased our Harley Enduro 650 Dakar soft tail model then you wouldnt have to worry about any rattles
and our factory nobblies last forever.
How's that blood pressure now.....
Airdrie actually. Nevil
Enjoyed reading your progress. Yes we will get together in the near future once you're back
and settled. Great pics on the S-10.

nevil
Keep up the good work on the bike,
as for Pete, James and me, we are on a month long metal roof......,
Just like an old climbing trip I'm sure your weather will change for the better.
Mervy
WOW! Hi Nevil,
You have made great progress considering all the rain and muddy conditions you have had. The Demspster has done in many vehicles, and drivers, in good conditions, so congratulations. Hope the road opens for you and the sun shines. In the meantime enjoy the break. Have a safe rest of your trip.
Bob
warm and dry Hi Nevil and Adam,
Sorry to hear you're having such bad luck with the weather!! We had one wet day from Liard Hot Springs to Fort St. John, other than that lots of sunshine. Liard Hot Springs was great - we highly recommend it. We're in St. Albert tonight and will do the last short leg tomorrow.
It was good riding with you. Perhaps we'll ride a little further / longer next time.
Best of luck with the rest of your trip.

Your exciting ride.. What a wonderful ride your are having.I am enjoying your Blog ,and thinking of the past, when your dad and I rode our
650 BSA Golden Flash through France escorted by two french policemen who wandered what we were riding. Your father like me would be very proud of you. I wish you and your friend a good journey and a wonderful time. With Love
MUM
Lucky People Your GPS Tracker is pants but the blog is good. Got worried when I couldn't see you move for 3.5 days but put it down to your low blood pressure. Shame about the bike..it being a BMW 'n all :D
:) Laughed out loud!!! Keep up the good job with the zippers, Neville! And keep dose words coming (not dease words)! Even when Penny's fingers bounce! I see a book in your future! Oh, yeah...and technically speaking...you rock!
Hugs!
A motorcycle trip into northern Canada and Alaska. Basically I'm hoping to acheive the two most northerly points accessible by road in both Canada and the USA in the same month. This journey will take me to Inuvik in the North West Territories via the Dempster Highway and then on to Prudhoe Bay/Deadhorse Alaska via the Dalton highway. The bike and I will travel twice out of treeline and twice into the arctic Circle!
This whole trip is also raising cash for the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut. My Name is Nevil Stow, I had a stroke on September 24th 2009 and want to raise a... full info
