Hi Everyone,

Well Adam & I made it to Alaska finally and are camping at Delta Junction just 150kms south of Fairbanks. Tomorrow we’ll try to achieve Galbraith Lake campground at the milepost marker 275 along the Dalton highway en-route to Prudhoe Bay. From there we’d like to set out the next day and ride the 225 kms north to Prudhoe, get the necessary photos and hightail it back to Coldfoot (milepost 175) in one day depending on weather and road conditions. As you can tell, Adam had very little trouble crossing the US border with no number plate. In fact the border guards did notice it was missing but couldn’t be bothered!
Right now the weather is dry and sunny and around 20 degrees c. We’re going to hit the hay early tonight because the next few days will be long ones. I also doubt that I’ll be able to blog anywhere along the Dalton so you probably won’t hear from me until Sunday/Monday.
I am planning an interesting photo for our second crossing of the Arctic circle by the way. More about that later though. In the meantime have a great weekend folks and spare Adam and I a thought as we struggle through the mud again.

P.S. Sorry I have no photos to offer today. It’s just that Bell Canada ding me big time on roaming and upload fees in Alaska. I’ll post a few photos after Prudhoe though.

Regards to you all.
Nevil
