The Green land Long time since I was in County Cork, my old bloggers. Nice to hear you're having a good time. Still at least one more blog, I reckon. (Unless you/re off to some other exotic countries before returning to the land of the sheep.)
Go the All Blacks!)
HELLO I'M SO GLAD TO SEE THE NICE TRIP YOU ARE MAKING. WE REMEMBER ALL YOUR KINDNESS YOU GAVE US. WE ALWAYS REMEMBER THE SPECIAL TIME WE SPENT IN NEW ZEALAND. A BIG KISS
Rocky Road I ALWAYS knew there was a little tiny leprechaun trying desperately hard to get out of you!! Beautiful country isn't it? Never seen it, thanks for the pics - Love Molly Malone!! Enjoy yourself over there now, and not too much guinness.....
Dear Kevin,
I've loved your blogs. Just re read them all. We were on the road ourselves and at the mercy of internet cafes, what a wonderful trip you've had!

Dirty Ole Town Hi Kevin,
Yes indeed the song is about Salford, I guess people think it is Irish becuase it was made popular by the Pogues. Interestingly it was written by Euan MacColl whas the father of Kirsty MacColl.
Kirsty was the female voice on the Pogues song "Faireytale of New York" and she died tragically in Mexico when hit by a speed boat when swimming
Probably more factoids than you need - take care

Question on priory A religious house presided over by a prior or prioress; sometimes an offshoot of, an subordinate to, an abbey, and called also cell, and obedience.
Of such houses there were two sorts: one where the prior was chosen by the inmates, and governed as independently as an abbot in an abbey; the other where the priory was subordinate to an abbey, and the prior was placed or displaced at the will of the abbot. Alien priory, a small religious house dependent on a large monastery in some other country.
York York is one of my all time favorites. Bob and I spent a couple of days with a single mission: to score the best trifle in the country. And we found it at a women's tea room. Can't remember the name of the restaurant, but the trifle was to die for!
Thanks, Kevin, for the photo of the sheep in front of the cathedral. I needed that!!
See you soon in Russell,
Dale
