Family tree Was just watching a show on tv about ancestry. Kingston is a great city. My father grew up there and I always enjoy going to visit my grandmother and aunt. My father's uncle Preston Sturgess about 15yrs ago began a family tree and I too am part of the Michael Grass lineage. I think it is really amazing to beable to trace back so far.
Just saw your response. No on this site much as I haven't entered anything new since our travel East. Plan to do it again this summer! My cousin, who lives in Kingston, is the ancestry buff. I will pass on your comment to her, as I'm sure she has done a family tree as well.

I will miss you! Hi Marcy and Gerry - I am going to miss your wonderful blog - Rick and I can't do much travelling ourselves just now, but reading your reports and seeing your fabulous photos has been great. New Orleans looks fascinating! And now you are enjoying all that sunshine down on Happy Trails. Do please give our regards to all our friends in the tennis club and say how sorry we are not to be there with you - hopefully next year.
Oysters in New Orleans Hi guys. We're wondering if those oysters were as good as our island oysters you ate at the Crow and Gate? Thanx for the updates. We've enjoyed travelling along with you. Now back at Surprise and lots of tennis, golf etc. (Back to normal.) Enjoy.
The morgans. Ps. We have some news. Caroline and Theo have set a date for Sept 8. In Smithers (Theo's roots-5 hrs. north-west of Prince George.) Not too extotic, but we're excited. Send any hints. (although it will be a fairly small eco-friendly occasion.)
Cheers:)
Oysters were Great! Have to admit - New Orleans oysters were great! Yup, quickly getting back into routine (Tennis social on Saturday). ha ha
Congrats on wedding! Great that it is small, and knowing Caroline, will probably be stress-free for Mom! Will catch up to you in the spring!
Love those sandy beaches! Oh, those long white beaches look amazing! How wonderful. Guess you are nearing Happy Trails as I write. Sorry to say that it doesn't look as if Rick and I will make it this year - but we have had an enquiry for next year so all is not lost! Look forward to seeing you on the Island during the summer. Much love from us both.
Come home!! Gerry and Marcy,
What wonderful travels you've had, but now we think it's time you get back to Happy Trails! :) You're needed on the tennis courts! We are in WY, but will return Jan 15 in time for the Wed "Racqueteers" play. Hopefully you will be back by then, also. If not, we're sending out a posy:)
Safe travels,
Jim and Flo
Wyoming?! Are you visiting kids? We should be back to HT on January 13 or so, too. Can't wait to get back to tennis & golf - miss everyone! See you soon!
Florida Glad you enjoyed my post on the KSC and your holiday to Florida. Nice to know someone else (besides my obligatory family & friends) are reading about our travels! This was our first trip to Florida too (and my first blog!), as living in western Canada, we usually travel to Arizona for the winter. Has been a great trip so far! Hope you are able to travel to Canada someday - many wonderful places to see there as well.
Jealous on Vancouver Island! Oh, sunbathing! How wonderful! I have just been out kayaking for the day out of Nanaimo, around Protection Island. Weather was much better than forecast - we had some sunny spells and only light winds, but still quite chilly and hot shower this evening was heaven! You can imagine I am sure. Your B and B, Old Town Manor, looks exquisite. I wonder if Rick and I will ever make that side of the country.
Oh, did you take the simulated space shuttle? I would just love to do that! How fabulous.
Went kayaking around the islands today - very cold and blustery - but thankfully a little sunshine to keep the bones warm as we had our hot soup on the little beach of one of the islands. Hot shower at the end of the day was heaven.
Lucky you - shorts and cropped trousers. Have fun. And thanks for the blog. Hopefully we will make Epcot and Disneyland one day too.
Really enjoying your blogs Marcy. We spent the weekend in Calgary visiting Parker. What a little guy he is, so much fun. Take Care. What are your Christmas plans?
Carolinas The Carolinas sounds like a great place to visit. The golf courses sound wonderful except for the alligator in the water traps!! Too funny. Continue to enjoy. We got back from Hawaii on Tuesday. We had a fantastic vacation. It couldn't have been better. Before we know it, it will be Christmas!!
Love the blog! Oh, Marcy, we are so jealous. You can't imagine the weather here - well, of course you can! Gales, cold, snow, wet ...... Anyway, love your Blog. Have always wanted to visit Charleston and it looks just beautiful. Fog watch sounds fun! With love, Penny and Rick (PS Rick had a shot in his knee today - hoping for a new man - six weeks the surgeon said!)
Memories!! Motorhoming101!!! Couldn't have said it any better!! Sure brings back memories of the last 6 years!
Must say travelling down here in the car was easier; but... had to look for motels, pack my suitcase around, and couldn't just jump up and use the girls room whenever I wanted!!
Have fun and keep safe!
