Well, glad to see that your trip got underway without major incident! The weather variation thing is a real pain - my parents have had to deal with that on several of their trips, taking everything they'd need for rainforest climates through near-arctic. Gack! Anyway, good luck on the flight to Lima - hope it's smooth and uneventful! :-)

All I know about this play is that there is a boy in it and they needed 3 boys to play the same part because it is so physical. I didn't even know there was a movie. Therefore, the best part about reading this review was that I get to keep in touch with you. By the way, in the second paragraph, the word should be "than" since you are comparing your enjoyment the first time and the second time. (sorry. It is in my nature. I hope you understand.)

Go see the movie
It sounds like the effort was made, perhaps too much so, to keep true to the movie. The movie also starts with the women getting to know each other and the drunken fantasy sequence and then, as if all of a sudden there is a realization that there is a story-line which needs to move along, the rest takes place. It is very dated, but still works well, which is in my opinion attributable to the strong acting skills of the stars. Glad you had a fun time.

Happy to read it!
I was happy to read a positive review. I was beginning to get worried about the shows you had been seeing. I was starting to lose faith in all productions. Everything did not live up to standards and usually your standards are tough but fair. I was worried that maybe you had seen one too many . . . as if that were possible. I am glad to see that there was something you actually enjoyed. By the way, the Bipolar advertisement at the bottom of your blog page, are those merely a wonderful proof of the irony in the world?
