My neck of the woods Well, you guys nearly made it made it to my hometown - another 10+ hours north and you would have been there. Kittery is nice too. I love the NE. Glad you guys are having a great trip. Miss you - Robin
Wow This is your best blog. The info is educational and interesting for family. The pictures are outstanding.
Thank you.
Have a happy "homecoming" tomorrow Heidi.
I love you, Grandma
Hope you enjoy your visit New Yorkers are irritable these days, especially because of the economy. The heat yesterday was a shock and very unexpected.
I hope you don't get a bad opinion of New Yorkers. People are nice when they take a minute to adjust.
The statue of liberty might be a little cooler than the city since it's on the water.

Did you eat all of the chocolate. Is that what is keeping you going?
I love seeing our American history vicariously through all of you. Now the kids can teach me.
The Whole Trip Well, I finally got through all of your blogs and feel that you really had quite the trip. Looks like I'd be staying away from Motel 6 from now on. That Indiana rest area wall certainly was something. Looks like plates from all over the US. I'm sure that the trip was tiring and worth it all. You've hit all the weather you could have minus an actual tornado. You were lucky there. I'm glad you had fun. Where to next? I think the South needs to be checked out. Need to see where the Wright Bros. took that first flight. Glad you had fun.
Love

I'm jealous! Hello Spackman Family! It sounds like you are having so much fun - I'm jealous! I've been to the Hoover Dam before and I thought it was really cool too! But, I haven't been to the Grand Canyon yet - your pictures are amazing! Have fun!
another good day I showed Mannie your pix, she got all excited about the bridge. They travel that way a lot. She was disappointed it is not finished yet, they will be going that way again soon.
Keep the blogs coming.

Welcome! I live in the Boise, Idaho area. I'm a mother of 2 children, whom will get a totally new experience in May. We are off with Grandma to see as much of the United States as we can in 3 weeks! I know that isn't long enough, but it is a good start, on history lessons and to find new interests for future excursions.... full info
