Helllooooo Everyone from FABULOUS Las Vegas! Unfortunately internet access/time has been few and far between here, we gave in and paid $13 for 24 hours of internet access so while everyone is asleep (it's 11.45am.. it's Vegas..) I thought I better just bang out a quick blog! First of all the Teen Choice Awards were AMAZING. We saw stars such as Katy Perry, Rob Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, David Beckham, Travie McCoy (performed- awesome) and Jason Derulo (performed as well- also amazing!) it was sooo much fun, the boys sat with their arms folded the whole time because the shriling sound of a thousand girls screaming was too much for them, but I think they secretly enjoyed it. We arrived in style- naturally, taking a black Sedan up to Universal City where the awards were located as ... read more

OLA! We have just arrived back in LA after spending Friday and Saturday in San Francisco. On Friday Ham and I arrived around 10am after only an hour flight - which meant an hour of sleep (I am now the master of sleeping on planes), we couldn't check in until 2pm so we headed out in search of Fishermans Wharf, instead, we found Westfield, after a quick trip to the Chemist and $40 later I had sufficiently stocked up on everything to cure my flu/cough/conjuncti (I'm an incubus of viral plague), Sam made me take cough medicine in the street he was so sick of me coughing. So anywho, we decided to have some lunch in Westfield after bypassing Victoria's Secret, Bloomingdales, Macy's and Saks Fifth Avenue, we thought we may do a quick hop on ... read more

"Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy" And so we did. We've just arrived back at our hostel after an epic 11 hours at Disneyworld! The Happiest Place In The World? I think so. Sleeping Beauties castle was AMAZING! It was the highlight of my whole day, everytime I saw it I was amazed, it is so iconic to Disneyland, how could you not love it? The Street Parade was so much fun I wanted to cry I was so happy! God Bless Mickey and his gang what a show and manya ultra-camp dancer. We spent the day going on as many rides as possible, the highlight I think for both of us (certainly me) were the Teacups! How could you not love them? And the Carousel.. I love love ... read more

So this afternoon Sam and I were walking to our hostel from the train station on Hwood Blvd. We pass a man dressed in lime green pants and a hot pink blazer sitting on a bench. There is a girl crossing the streets walking in his direction. Man: "Giiiiirrrrrllllllll do you remember me? We spent like 16 hours in jail together a couple months back!! I thought that was you" Sam and I look at each other, keep walking down the street and quite naturally continue to piss ourselves laughing for the next block. Only in America? Just a quick recap on our amazing dinner last night. We wandered down the Hollywood Bvld around 8.30 looking for a bit of a feed (oh and did I mention there was a movie premier going on? We were ... read more

Well, the good news is WE MADE IT! The bad news is we can hardly keep our eyes open long enough to see it! After leaving Sydney at 10.15am 3rd August, we then arrived at LAX at 6.45am 3rd August, that's right- we went back in time. So futuristic! The time difference isn't so bad, but trying to get some shut eye on our 13.5 hour flight proved difficult due to the fact that, well, it was a 13.5 hour flight! How uncomfortable are planes? I wanted to throw my delicious chicken dish at the first classers with their moist towlettes and their comfy seats.. The flight itself was really good, no turbulence, no screaming children - or adults and occassionally we did slip in a quick 30 mins of sleep. We were feeling ready to ... read more
