Love your stories, never long enough and never enough pics, though :-)

bravo hello Simon,
After reading ur blog, I am very impressed by ur willingness to step out of ur comfort zone. You have a great sense of humor too(The comment about the local kid needing a wash had me laughing for a week). I am from nepal myself but reading ur entries was like seeing Nepal for the first time. Best regards,
Diksha(diksha2@hotmail.com)
unique Myrad,
I am from India and have visited Taj Mahal a couple of times. But these pictures bring out something that I have never seen. Good luck!
The place could be dirty, but the people are nice.
Have fun!
gidday hello Wadders! havn't written for a while, but thought it was high time. Hope the dysentry and cholera aren't keeping you up at night! Might see you in the UK in early August if you are back then. Tristan.
Into Africa... Good Luck Simon, (yes, it's a good luck with captials...gettin' serious :) )
hope Africa lives up to India and when you get home we'll be ready to horrify you with our decadent western ways once more. All the best, J-P
Bob & the dung beetles Love this latest blog; you may think it's not up to Everest standards but I laughed out loud, trying to visualise you on Bob, the horny donkeys - how did you know? - and all the other, wonderful, sights. What adventures you are having! Waitrose is going to be so boring!!!!
blimey, the old dude in the desert and the sleeping wild dogs...
...good photos Simon...and I hope you stay shaven. It's disgusting all this unshorn nonsense...
Wow Simon, not only are you travelling the world expirincing other cultures but you actually take part in these new cultures. Friggin cool. I can't believe they were so nice, you'd see none of that over here in North America.
Chipmunks and saris Bet that chipmunk enjoyed a cornflake or two - made a nice change from naan! What incredible sights - and a bath as well - pure luxury after Everest Base Camp.
Take care, don't overheat!

Kenya dude Hi Simon,
Hopefully you've seen the email that I copied you in on. Think we're all set for a 3 day Camping Safari as soon as we get to Nairobi, then back to my mate's uncles for a couple of nights. Then I'm buggering off back to Blighty, keep reminding me to bring the tent for you, as you might be stuck otherwise!!! Dammit I wish was in India too with you right now!
See you real soon.
Danger - High Voltage! Of course, all us train buffs know what OHE means, and can only be slightly bemused instead of cracking up into peals of laughter.
congrats wow!! awesome man :). the view must be even more magnificent in person. can't believe you did it with such limited gear...the locals would be proud :).
Wow, Congrats Simon that's friggin amazing!! I defintily could not have done that and I am muchos impressed that you could. That is definitly a memory that will last a lifetime.
never underestimate the power of the wooly hat! Well done, mate. That's one true and pure adventure. You made it without unnecessary luxuries, that's the way to do it.
I am proud of you.
brrrr Man, my hands started getting all cold reading your story and checking out your photos. Very impressive. Were you tempted to press further than EBC? maybe next time? Do you think you could do it?
I bet you are looking forward to the heat of Africa now......
Keep the stories and pics coming!
Crazy world! Well done on making it, you're obviously v proud, and rightly so! Amazing experience by the sound of it.
Obviously I would have given up after an hour with altitude sickness and a sprained ankle.....

Wow! Simon, that's f***ing incredible. Sorry to swear but really I cannot begin to imagine how hard the last two weeks must have been. What an experience - and trust you to do it the way you did, which must make it so much more satisfying - no luxury just pure will power. You did it all yourself, good on you! I'm working on my last piece of summative work before my finals and reading your blog has made my day. I woke up pretty miserable and you have just reminded me how downright amazing this little ol' world really is. Keep 'em coming Simon, and take care x
insane in the main brain! Hey! holy shit! I never knew that you were going to go over there! It looks so cold that i don't really care about wishing to be traveling with you any longer. keep the craziness up!
Marriott On a business trip to Albuquerque New Mexico, air condition is on, nice dinner this evening and a clean bed at a Marriott - then I read your blog and see the pictures - I will not complain all the way home on the jet tomorrow. Great comments as I see the way the Native Americans are viewed here in New mexico - show some respect as you know is what is needed- Phill
I've just finished University, at Leeds studying Geography, and have a year free. Since I didn't take a 'gap' year, but have had a taste of travelling for a while, it would seem only inevitable that 9-months away, continuing the geography experience, is in order.
Thought I'd keep a blog instead of pestering peeps every few days with mass emails about giant scorpions and losing my luggage in a semi-humorous way. Feel free to email me tho, and I will reply :)
Oh and the photo is my audition for DKNY's next sunglasses campaign...... full info
