Yes, we made it to Thailand safe and sound. Our flights were long but went well - no delays or problems. Air Canada surpised us with complementary meals and booze!!! Our Thai friend, Ting met us in Bangkok the morning after our arrival and we travelled with her to her home in Rayong, 3 hours south of Bangkok. We were treated to the true Tahil culture as we stayed with "Ting" and her family at their home. We met her mother and father in law who live in an open air house behind on the same property. Ting's in laws also have a fruit orchird with interesting produce such as mangos, pepper, jack fruit, bananna etc. Ting's husband, Toy and her own a gas station and confectionary.
