Dryer? Oma! Yes, the apartment is working out nicely for the month. I have the luxury of a washer in the apartment, but no, we don't have a dryer. They have been kind enough to provide us with some drying racks for our clothes, so it all works out. Love you lots!
'ello gov'na' I bet you didn't know the Brits could have an entire conversation using only a " ' ". Watch a small illustration:

Enjoying your posts I enjoy reading about your stay in London. It is great that you get to experience living in a different culture rather than just visiting for a week. I worked with a woman a year ago who was from England. She always told the kids to tidy up and called our mailboxed pigeon holes. Her kids went to school in the US for 3 years. There are a lot of differences in words and it was almost like a different language for them.
I hope to go to England sometime, but will learn from your posts in the meantime. All of Europe sells alcohol everywhere. In Austria, McDonald's sells beer.
Great !!!! Dear Michelle and Ben - Your apartment looks great. I am sure it will fit your needs for the short time you are there. It reminds me of the "rec room" we lived in Columbus, Ohio. We made out just fine, but I had to go to the laudromat to wash and dry clothes. Do you have a dryer? We are very happy for you. Love you, Oma
Yay for long flights... I mean BOO! They are never fun, but at least you had each other. I'm glad that you arrived safely, and I hope that the search goes well.
Glad you made it Safe! Hi Ben and Michelle!
Wow some Long trip you guys had! I am just so glad that you guys made it safe and that everything worked out just fine:)

Hey Everyone!
We are traveling to the United Kingdom twice this coming school year, due to Ben's medical school. He will be following a doctor around for a month in the fall in London, England doing Pediatrics. We will return to the UK in the spring, going to Edinburgh in Scotland, where he will follow a doctor around doing Neurology. I get to join him on these adventures, and enjoy staying and exploring the UK! Yay!... full info
