Konnichiwa! So, I'm in my dorm, I've started school, I've been to Tokyo Eki (station), I've walked about tall buildings and have been mildly lost a time or two. It's been alright. At orientation they told us about how when you come to Japan and everything's all new you go through this honeymoon phase where you love everything and you're ultra happy, then culture shock hits and you're grumpy and grouchy and irritable, and nothing's as good as what's back in your home country.
