Adrenaline Rules OK?? Hi Lizzie-P. Boat trip sounds interesting?? That orang utang is now my firm hero- 'the man' as the young ones would say. Pleny more adventures to come. John B
Civilisation I think you might be right about enjoying that style of living Tami, except for the snakes and scorpions of course. My children and I once slept out in the desert and woke to find the tracks of a scorpion which had inspected us all during the night
Wow! What a wonderful post to read! It sounds as though you are experiencing what it would be like without "normal" civilization. I wonder if you could always live this way or do you enjoy it so much because of the novelty?
Kiwis Hi John, we have just spent a few days with a Kiwi family who have taken a year out from work - very friendly. That road would be horrendous in the snow, it was a corker in the autumn - steep sides and some of it is a rough track ....
Interesting?? Hi Lizzie-P. Just received an e-mail from my mate Roger in Wellington NZ. He tells me that the Desert Road that you travelled earlier this year is currently blocked by SNOW and the HEP on the South Island is functioning well, plenty of water though there is still drought in the Nelson area.!! John B
Enough Indeed Hi Lizzie-P. 45 metres is plenty high enough for anyone who isn't barmy, certainly much too high for me but sounds good. Hair colouring sounds interesting, let us know more in time. So pleased you are enjoying it all. John B
Get thee behind me... Do NOT put that idea in my head!! Hope hte week-end in Wales was good? Sorry to have missed it, but the birthday party could not be missed!
The Goods!! Hmm, I think I know how she lost some weight - she came to visit here, it is like living in a sauna!! We are over at the other side of the island now, snorkelling, turtles and proboscis monkeys we hope!!
Brunei Remember Jade Goody got the Goods before you.Yet you may get lucky too.
Thinking about you at pilates, its a long way to go to get out of it!
Lovely photos.
All for one and one for all........ I think that should be our motto, don't you?? I hope climbing K doesn't prove harder than cycling across America. I expect to do this rather slowly. Get that kettle on when I get back down. S xxx
Good start!! I'm glad to hear that John, yes go out and wtch some cricket, I just hope the right side wins!! If you see Boony, give him my regards _ I enjoyed watching his team beat Notts, shrops have never liked them.
