Hello from the land of the hornbills hi Liam,
Trust you and your dad had a wonderful time in the "land of the hornbills"- sarawak. it was a pleasure being able to meet you guys during the boat ride. Very impressive with your writings/ creativity and you're so detail. When your dad said you're a good writer, i could not believe you are that good!!! You must continue to write. Say hi for us to your dad. Same goes to the rest of my family- wife- Shirley, mum- Elizabeth- boat owner- SKY- Taiwanese Lady- Grace.
Again, had a great time with the two of you. NExt time, if you happen to be around this part of the world, drop me an email - i can bring you to some new interesting places -only the locals know. he..he... Take care and god bless.
Back home Hi Liam,
Sorry about lack of comments -I've been on the road, too (feeble excuse). But, nothing like as interesting as your trip -I'd love to have seen the wildlife you've been running around with, spiders, monitor lizards, orangs: the whole lot. Impressed with your write-ups too -thanks for keeping me on your email list. All the best -and Hi to the rest of your family - Mike
Back to Singapore So you had fun right till the end of your holiday. Wow! I live in a snowroom which is fun and weird for nearly six months in a year! At the moment it's +28c. Thank you for sharing your trip. It's good to be away awhile to see home with new eyes too. Love Irmeli xx
Great trip another fantastic travel blog - nearly as good as being there ! Thanks for sharing the experience - I think you should have a career in journalism ! xx ( one of those kisses is for your dad !)
Kuch-Ing or Ku-Ching Loved the rocks showing different emotions and your Dad's "soggy cornflakes tasting of fish" :-D I was left wondering how you recognised that particular orang-utan? Was it because she had a baby? How DO you describe the differences between them? x
OMG The OMG trees are saying that cos they can't believe how many times your dad can lose something!! PS where is the Jacuzzi in the Evergreen. Did it have an age restriction?? Love Mum
Penang I just love the way you write Liam. "the sea was disgusting industrial grey..." What poetry!!! You do have a gift. Don't ever stop writing. The older you will be the more you will have to write about. Your dad writes well too, so it sure runs in the family. I wish you would write about your experieces my country one day...
Malaysia You seem to have a very varied and exciting time. What would you like to take home from Malaysia if it was possible? I suppose you are used to heat living in Australia, where it gets very hot in the summer, so the Malaysian temperatures don't seem to worry you. Is it very hot and humid? Did you enjoy the bike ride? A long time ago your dad had a huge big motorbike and I once had a ride at the back and I loved it. What a great time you are having!
AWESOME!!! Hey Liam,
Your trip sounds so cool! I wish I was There with you. It would have been cool if you got the tickets to go the Sky Bridge thingamaboby, and by the way you looked so enthusiastic on your 'big boy's Pony ride' (just kidding!LOL). Have lots of fun, say hey to your dad (and the monkeys)and stay safe meaning don't go creating bombs, teasing animals and all that normal stuff you do =) Can't wait for the next installment Keep Bloggin' to your pal half way across the world,
Celia =)
Kaula Lumpa Great piece of Gonzo writing (your Dad will explain!) and good to hear that the donkey weight allowances are strictly upheld. Over here, my train home from work was full of people returning from Glastonbury. My train was cool for once!
Kuala Lumpur Hi Liam! I am really enjoying reading your travel blog and I can't wait to hear what happens next! I hope you are happy with the divices the man sold you. Not having been to those parts of the world myself but only heard other people talk about it, it's very interesting to find out different experiences they have according to age, gender and interests. I am sure you will have a lot to add to your own world with different visions, sounds, smells and tastes! Enjoy!!!
Kuala Lumpur I can't wait to find out what happens next! Biting my nails here!!! I hope you are happy with the devices the man sold you. Look, listen, smell, taste, enjoy!
Notice of Liquidation of Assets Hope all is well. We have sold your laptop, your WII, Xena and Kreem and spent the profits on a LOT of pizza. There are a few slices leftover. Would you like me to freeze them for you?
omg!!!!! OMG!!! You are sooooooo lucky yo get to go to so many interesting and exciting places. I am sorry I haven't wrote any comments lately or at all because I just got your link to this website yesterday. I hope to see you soon cause everyone at school misses you and we have a new boy at school called Ethan. Bii Bii Katherine and the kids at school.
Cubs awaits your victorious return Hey Liam - what an excellent holiday you are having and what an even more excellent job you have done at writing about it. Your fellow cubs (and leaders) will be very envious of your adventures and look forward to a full report upon your return. There must be a badge in here somewhere! I think you may have had a little too much sun though - not liking donut sticks with chocolate sauce????????? I'll fix that for you. Baloo
