Merry Christmas Laurel and Ty Thank you for the wonderful descriptions of your travel adventures. We feel like we are there with you. And we are in spirit. Glad you are having a good time and managing to stay (relatively) safe. lol (ML and John do not share my enthusiasm.)
Wishing you both a wonderful Christmas. See you in the New Year. Luv Linda and Ford
I am so jealous !!!! Snorkeling, tuna, sailing - sounds like a good time to me. Aya and I wish you the best in your travels and hope you make it to Japan soon
WOW Sounds like quite the adventure. I'm kind of envious except for the crazy sailing weather, which sounds terrifying. Glad to hear your safe and well. We'll be missing you over Xmas, definitely envious of that trip!
snow?whoa. Hola, Beloveds. This wanderer has found herself home. (Yesterday pond skating; last night, real Canadian snow!) Your adventure weaves its magic; may you find a fine ship to sail by, and the golden fleece at journey's end. xx
Medellin "Modern architecture and public art, although we were informed that this is partly due to all the drug money that still remains in the city despite the collapse of the Escobar cartel."
This is absolutely not true, the majority of the money comes from the government, (both local and national) in what is called the most ambitious urban redevelopment plan in Colombia, an the rest of the money comes from foreign investors, due in large part to the security accomplishments, interest from countries such as the US, Germany, France and England are pouring money into Medellin. You have been quite misinformed and whoever told you those things, helps to perpetuate the bad image and bad publicity that makes Colombia infamous.
Laurzilla I think I peed my pants a little from laughing so hard about Lola's fall. I can totally picture it!(Having witnessed it on many other occasions)
Sounds like rehab will be needed upon your return...
I said a no no no
Thank You Chica's I hope you left many flowers whisky and small coins for the female statue - Thank you oh wonderous DJ hands for bringing the big beats

You write like a girl? I don't know why but I assumed it was Lola who was writing this so I had to redo my mind pictures for the Mucha Musica. Lola was not on tv?
Sounds like things are going well so far, look forward to reading more about your adventures.

Lucky Ducks Well, I am glad to hear that first, you are becoming local celebs, second your luggage arrived, and third you are having a good time. I have also decided that considering it is only Thursday and I have had to call the mouse control people, find keys, pick up boxes and listen to complaints, I may just leave everything to Pete and hop on a Plane and join you! Jokes aside, keep the updates coming and maybe do a little dance around that phallic stone for Aryan and I. HAHAHA!!
Russel, an over night hit! Wow! lucky bags came so fast. My bag got lost on the way back from Honduras for 2 weeks! I thought it was gone for ever. I was just glad it happend at the end of the trip.
Getting tired of signing autographs yet? Was it the local news that got you on TV?
Nice writing Ty! Looking forward to more!

Coffe with the Police? Are you LOCO ? What an example of how something bad turns into something good. I guess having a beautiful 6'2'' rubia in your company doesn't hurt either! So glad you are building memories already. Can't wait to read more about your adventures.
