Chichen Itza Thanks for posting your pictures. We traveled there about 20 years ago, so it brought back memories. Now we are reading our sons travelblogs. Travel is a wonderful experience that stays with you the rest of your life. Keep on truckin'!
Thanks! My Stone Mountain pics are the least visited of my blogs so i am happy to hear that you enjoyed them. It is a great place to visit. I live in NY and have family near there and spent my summers there as a kid. I love going back! I hope your kids enjoy it!
Thanks for the views We used to live in Atlanta 15 years ago. We are taking a trip there soon with our children. I wanted to show them Stone Mountain and your pictures are nice. Thanks for posting them.
Yes I read about the colapse and saw pictures. When we were there the waves were crashing on against the bridge really hard and when you were standing on the bridge it would shake when the waves hit it so I was not that supprised. It was a beautiful sight to see and I am happy we got to see it.
Re: Hotel Guanica, a parador outside Ponce No we didn't visit that Parador. We stayed in San Juan in the Condado area and rented a car to drive all over the island. Ponce is beautiful but we found it to be mostly locals. There is a lot of industry and jobs around the San Juan area. San Juan is only a 2 hour drive from Ponce (if you take the right highway). If you are looking to relocate I would start in San Juan and then look at Ponce... Hope that helps!
The pictures with the titles ariokon forest.
THose pictures where taken in parke arikok. It's a national park.
Aruba doesn't have a forest. At least not officially
Love this blog I'm from Barbados and it was nice to see all the photos. I try to get back once a year and I've just been inspired to launch my own Barbados blogging community. Not much there yet, but have a look: http://bb.goldenprose.net/

Did you visit Hotel Guanica, a parador outside Ponce? Do you think that a family of gringos who speak Spanish and love adventure could move to the area surrounding Ponce? Maybe for 5-8 months/year? Could we find work at the local universities?
Thanks for your reply!
Ponce The castle is in Ponce. It is at the top of the hill there overlooking the Carribean. It is beautiful. There is a tour of the inside of it which we did not take.
