Hello and thanks from Germany Dear Ken,
after our return back home (two days ago) we visited your blog - thanks for sending us the site address. We will keep on following every step you take!!!
It was so nice getting to know you, and it is great that you invited us to accompany you virtually!
Our safari from Joburg to Nairobi was good and very interesting. However, we missed you Campfire guys!!!
Meanwhile we have arrived back home and are trying to get accustomed to everyday life (not so easy...)
Hope to hear from you every once in a while - it would be great!
All the best to you from your two German ladies Daggie and Chris
Anna will love u for puttin on that pic of her pullin her face! Skye thought u were the man on the bus with all the face paint on she was saying "gadad, face, draws!" xxx
Porcupines Those pesky porcupines! I am pleased you screwed your courage to the sticking post (also Shakespeare) and went to confront the mystery intruder. We have a hedgehog in our back garden. The basic idea is the same, but procupines are more flamboyant. They probably enjoy Shirley Bassey and Frankie Goes to Hollywood whereas our hedgehog is more of a Led Zeppelin fan really.

Hi Ken, mum is relieved that you have left Africa and you are now in Australia. Glad you enjoyed your experience there, but i bet that was a scary moment to say the least when your transport broke down. Glad it worked out well though. Hope you enjoy your time in Australia, give Anna my love.

Wow, you've certainly taken some fabulous memories away from Africa. I'm looking forward to hearing about the next part of your adventure.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Hi Ken, I wish I was with you it looks like you are having a fabulous time. I would of course be hiding behind you most of the time and using you as a human shield.
Just want to say have a Happy Birthday and I miss you loads.
Love Chris.
howdy Hi Uncle Ken me and Tom have just been sat for couple of hours looking at your blog page. I have not been on it before it looks absolutely amazing. Your photographs are beautiful and you have really captured them well. I can see your photography skills are definately being used. I wish I had the guts to do what you are doing I bet you are having the time of your life out there. I don't know how you are going to adjust to life back in boring Englad after experiencing what you are doing. I can quite imagine that this experience will be the first of many for you. I especially love one of the photographs which you have taken of a giraffe they have such beautiful features and lovely long lashes I am thinking of saving it and having it printed out and framed to put up in my house. Your first kiss is Africa is great :) it makes my kissing a cow seem very boring. I am really looking forward to reading your next blog I have no doubt I will be looking at your site a lot and probably not getting much work done when i'm work because I will be busy on the internet showing everyone in work your amazing pictures. I hope you are having the time of your life which i am sure that you are enjoy every minute of it you are so lucky. Take care of yourself and when you meet up with Anna hope you have a wonderful time I bet she will be really glad to see you. Love Sarah x
Hi Hi Uncle Ken,
You look like you're having a great time. When you get back you'll have to tell me more about it and show us all your pics. Have a great time in Australia.
Hi Bushman! Wow Ken it all sounds and looks (thanks to your skillful photography) terrific. We have just returned from our annual trip to Portugal where Ken T surpassed himself by taking a 3 hour sail on a four master - bearing in mind he is normally sea-sick when it rains heavy it was a giant step for him but not in the scorpion stakes. Thanks for such an interesting blogg. Enjoy
