What a life! Hi Kenny!
No way will you ever settle in the UK again after this! I look forward very much to reading your news; it's certainly on par with Spring Watch. You can tell you are clearly enjoying every single minute of your adventure, it looks and sounds awesome, and I must confess I'm rather jealous! I keep thinking about that poor giraffe with the wire entangled around it's foot; hope it manages to fall off....... (the wire I mean!)
Anyway, take care and hope to hear all about it when you arrive back in the UK.
Love Foggy x
great blog and pix Hi Ken - just to let you know that Holly and I are following your adventures with interest. There's plenty of wildlife here in my house in Glossop, as you know, but fortunately nothing as big as an ellie or hippo. It's great that you're experiencing the 'front line', so to speak, and finding out how controls on poaching really don't work - but the more interest generated the more hope for the future, I suppose. We had an African singing night at the Partington last Thursday with Jonathan from the Congo - went really well. Cheers and keep enjoying! Penny

Hello Hello Ken! Hope you´re fine, I really miss the animals and you guys! I haven´t been jumping of high places in a while.. but i saw some of the animals at the Zoo. But I really didn´t like that they were in cages..

We tackled Stuart's garden last weekend, clearing it ready for the wedding BBQ - it was a bit like your 'tree at gate' session but there were only five Roe deer in the undergrowth.
Wildlife in South Africa Great close-up pictures! You guys were extremely lucky to see so many animals. What people don't realise is that these animals are not kept in small "camps" or big zoo!! The animals are wild and roam thousand of square kilometres. Enjoy the rest of the adventure!
I've finally seen your blog and it's very interesting. The photography is very good and I've enjoyed seeing your pictures. You look like you're having a great time.
See you soon,
Mum
OMG! It looks and sounds so amazing! Its a good job you are good at taking pics - if it was me or mum it would be a picture puzzle - having to guess what animal that part of the body belonged to!!!! ha ha! I bet it is so much nicer seeing the animals in the wild but can imagine it is pretty scary when there are no fences to stop you being the next meal! We look forward to reading the next chapter. Stay safe! Lots of love, Jen, Glen and Will xxxx
journey gosh Ken you must be in your element it looks absolutly fantastic, and i'm not into animals like you. What a lifetime ambition and you have done it well done x
Hiya Uncle Ken. It looks like you are having a "whale" of a time! Glen is so very jealous! I am sure he will look forward to reading more of your stories. The pictures are fab - looking forward to seeing more. I know mum is missing you loads so it is good that you can keep us updated with your progress and so we all know you are safe and well. Take care and happy diving.
Lots of love, Jen, Glen and William xxxx
