The pictures Kathy, the pictures are absolutely stunning. Yes, you deserve a lot of credit but the subject matter in the pictures was amazing. Obviously, I know almost nothing about Qatar, but I learning as I read. Thank you for inviting me to view your info and pictures!!
Wonderful! Great to have your blog again! The history and information reminds me of Bahrain and Oman where I had the privilege to visit in 2012. The Middle East is beautiful and exotic. So very different from US in culture, but similar in people’s lives and dreams and expectations. Thanks, Berh
always on the move! I feel so lucky to have been able to spend a peaceful few days with you guys in the fall of 2018 -- since you almost NEVER hold still! Stay well my dear friends!!

I don't usually read much of your blogs... They are so interesting but long. But this one really was good. Camping in the bush was really interesting. Pictures were great!

Hi from Birmingham, Alabama Hi Dougherties and Hayden's, have just read your bog (not in a detailed way, as am a tad busy today) but I am green with envy, for the rich experience you are all having. Thanks for doing the bog. It's great to walk some of the walk with you. We still have two weeks here and it's a party a minute and grand kids on our agenda nearly everyday. All doing great and feel in no hurry to leave. We are off to Smith Lake for a few days...that will be interesting for us. Hope you are all in good shape and that Sherri's cold is better by now. Keep on having fun! XX Pooles
February 2020. We are still in Tucson, Arizona, well, often anyway. We continue our wanderings and enjoying our adventures. We haven't lived outside the US in awhile, but have lived in: Guatemala, Ecuador, the Netherlands (twice), Germany (twice) and South Africa. We have now traveled to well over 100 countries, but that doesn't mean we plan on stopping any time soon. ... full info
