Tour de Afrika Hi Kathy-- Thanks for allowing me to tour Africa with you! This is probably the closest I'll ever get. Your photos, as always, are great. I look forward to Part II. Be well and have more fun!
thanks for the lovely tour! I so enjoyed sharing your safari journey -- brought back many memories for me of my1999 'honeymoon' safari in Kenya & Tanzania. Your wildlife photos are spectacular!! Sending big hugs -- I still await your return to Ecuador!!!
Such happy memories! Hi Kathy & Bernard: just happened to find your wonderful travel blog! We're so happy to read your impressions and see your photos of our wedding. It was so special to have you there. You really were our "rockstar" guests! It's wonderful to remember the fun and beauty of it over a year later. Hope you are well in Tucson! Hope we see you soon. Much love, Gale & Arjun

Outrageous! Wow and OMG! What else is there to say?
Okay, there IS more: you take some amazing photos that really give us a sense of this part of the world and it's customs. Thanks, Kathy.
Increíble todo... no se puede creer. Espectacular. I don´t have a word to say after seeing all this, incredible. Guys you look fantastic and immersed in that great culture... Good for you... besos from Argentina
a wonderful visit to Thailand! Thanks for stirring up fond memories! The Pictet experience must have been fabulous! And how great that you were able to reconnect with dear expat friends -- always fabulous to see a place through the eyes of someone who lives there. The biking along klongs day looked breathtaking.
What a super trip! Loved the story about the Bridge over the River Kwai. Little did we know when we saw the movie so long ago, huh? Always enjoy your adventures.
Have always wanted to travel here, so I had a great keyboard trip through your wonderful pictures and narrative. What a fantatic trip you two had. Hooray Kathy for being adventurous and trying a little opium.
Thank you for sharing your South Africa trip adventure...wow! Thanks Bernie and Kathy for sharing your fantastic travel experiences. Wow, South Africa sounds and looks wonderful. May God bless you and keep you well in all your world travels. If you are ever in Houston, let us know!
Kiev now I've been in Kiev many times (1968 - 1980) and had here my promotion to Dr.art. So I'm glad to see pictures from an eyewitness and so rich, different and expressive. I'm aware that Kiev is changing rapidly, as is Riga where i live (since 1960). But the heritage is so great and so rich. I'm sorry to read about these 'unhappy people'. Perhaps there are not places on Earth where everybody is happy. But at that time I met mostly such people as Natalia... Kiev impressed (and impresses) me with its spaciousness, wastness, breath of real long and complicated history. I wish the people there with all cordiality to be as happy as ever possible.
February 2020. We are still in Tucson, Arizona, well, often anyway. We continue our wanderings and enjoying our adventures. We haven't lived outside the US in awhile, but have lived in: Guatemala, Ecuador, the Netherlands (twice), Germany (twice) and South Africa. We have now traveled to well over 100 countries, but that doesn't mean we plan on stopping any time soon. ... full info
