Hey everyone, I've gotten some feedback as to confusion about posts other than this one. If you just hit the next button, you can read the rest of my posts!
Rome Hey Katie, how are things going? Are you absolutely in love with Italy yet? Things are well here although it has been raining ALOT! I couldn't say how the Cubs are doing but I think they haven't messed things up and are still in the running for making it to the World Series. No word on Brangelina adopting more children although I think I heard Madonna may be adopting another. How is it going with you dodging the paparazzi while in Italy? Can't wait to hear how things are going - especially the swim in the Med. Lots of love, Rachel
Sounds like you're having a great trip!
I just got caught up on your posts and it sounds like you're having an amazing time! You're seeing so many historic places in such a short time... fabulous! I have never been to Assisi but would love to one day.
And about those manpris... I know what you mean! You know how they say that fashion starts in Europe before it gets to the States? Well when Tim and I were in Paris three years ago, every other man we saw was sporting either sunshine yellow pants or some kind of bright red. I mean, what's with the preschool color palette? I joked that Tim better get used to it because that was going to be all the latest around Arcadia some time soon. Thank God it never made it across the Atlantic!!
I wish I knew more Italian to be able to e-dialogue with you but the only things I know are how to say "kiss my a$!" and something that I am surely going to spell wrong but kinda sounds like this: 'Que camine con la note, camine con la morte.' Loosely translated, it means "He who walks at night walks with death". My Italian father used to tell me that before I went out with my friends at night in high school. Lovely thoughts, eh?
On that note, enjoy your trip!!!!!

prosecco If you haven't had some, do.
We enjoyed at piazzo navona, my freinds favorite, when we went for her 60th birthdayThe fountain there is oneof the best, I think that I envy you your adventure.
Hottie You are an Italian (or Egyptian) dreamboat and you didn't even know it! Ha Ha... I can't wait for more of these stories. Just keep in mind that if you even smile at an Italian man they think it's on. Amy once had one following her on the street for blocks after she just said hi. Have fun... and maybe say yes once in a while. he he. Love ya!- Julia
Hello Lindemanns! It's so wonderful to hear from you!! I hope the beginning of school is going well. In response to your questions: 1. I do not know how to speak Italian. I'm taking Italian 101 this semester. Let's hope it helps because I'm already a little lost. 2. My campus is pretty. It's small, but looks like how I imagined a Roman school to be. It has a nice garden and a brick walkway through the middle with statues of heads outlining the walkway. From what I've seen of Rome so far, it looks like Southern California- just a lot less populated. 3. I will be going to a papal audience on Sept. 24th. So yes, I will be seeing Pope Benny! In response to Forrest's question, I do not believe there are any hurricanes here. But if there are, I'll let him know. These are awesome questions! I look forward to hearing from you!
Have fun, Katie!! You go, Katie! We're so excited for you and are looking forward to hearing about your adventures. Soak it up, have a GREAT time. Sophia has a few questions for you: 1- Do you know how to speak Italian? 2- Is it pretty there? 3- Are you gonna se the Pope? Or at least the place where he lives? (The "Pope-house", as Forrest calls it) And Forrest has one question: Are there any hurricanes in Rome?
Have fun Katie!!

Schoolz! Hey K-Munny! I can't wait to hear about your first big adventures with the Pope! Please tell him I'll return season 3 of Lost next time I'm in the Vatican. But, anyways, I started classes today and I am in my War, Peace, and Faith class right now and now that I have a syllabus in my hands I just realized I am going to have to read the entire book, War and Peace, and am almost going to pass out... That's crazy... I didn't sign up for this... Oh wait, I guess I did... Well gotta go! Teacher's talking!
I've never been a very good journal-er. So, this is a new experience. Perhaps, my motivation will stem from keeping people updated on things that might actually be semi-interesting (if not, the pictures will be worth at least thirty seconds of your time). So, in the words of Kel, ahhhh here it goes... ... full info
