Finally found your blog on the bike trip I had reverently followed you through the eastern part of the world, but missed this part until now. All I can say is you are plucky--and lucky to be alive:)
Are you posting anything from Andros? Kiss the sand at Forfar for us:) And say hello to the purple throne:)
Stay healthy and enjoy!

The spare room misses its inhabitant. Kev,
Nigel and Buddy miss you. And I miss you too, my friend. Glad you got to stay for a bit. I know you won't get this for awhile, but I'm going to say it anyways-- write or call soon. Take care darlin.
Love you.

Sad to see you go, but glad to hear how exciting your journey is. Though I can't imagine doing it, I feel as though it would be very peaceful. Much time and solitude for introspection. All is the same here. Be safe and good luck! I look forward to hearing more from you :) Much love!
With a cool and equanimous mind.... Interesting experience innit? though like you it seems I have no real desire to sit for 2 hours a day. The technique can be useful at times, but is not the final word on the human condition, I do not think there is one, and I am glad of that.
Love to chat about the experience with you, and hear your stories since I saw you last.
Peace
Jim
Tarantula "(Did eat some fryed tarantula looking spider in Cambodia which was delicious)."
Spider, it seems you have resorted to cannibalism. Please advise.
Weee! So glad to hear you are safe and sound. It is amazing reading about all your experiences! So just how tan are you now? Love you/miss you... Bring me back an elephant, Buddy needs a playmate. :)
kevin- it is a special thing, in my opinion, to be a part of growing food there. plowing the rice paddies? i just "looked" at them. the depth of experience being that intimate with the land, farmers... it is quite different from traveling around getting drunk and floating from bar to bar. hey, i know that is on the itinerary too! just saying, way to go on connecting with something behind the veil.
kevin! you are a talented writer! it is so fun to read your entries! a nice stroll down memory lane for me. soundz like much is the same ten years later. i have the same feelings of simpatico with the elephants. slavery alwayz sucks. thanx for adding photos...
I WAS worried when I read the headlines! Almost called your mom to see if she had heard from you but decided to check your blog first:)
Stay safe, kiddo! BTW--We're enjoying your stories:)
I been following that on the news, glad to hear you are safe and not leaving soon because it sounds like nobody is going anywhere right now. Keep posting, I enjoy reading it each week.
baht-tom samples Spider,
Glad to hear you made it there safely and are settled in. In honor of your voyage, I have been eating Thai food at least twice a week and watched The Beach.
Please advise what a km is.
Keep us posted on your adventures and watch out for typhoid!
