You gotta pay to see the dunes in Dunhuang???!!!! I'd like to visit this place but don't mind paying to see the dunes and would take a camel ride too! by the way, I enjoy reading your story.
awesome post :D wow, the pictures of you on the sand are awesome! I would love to have my own trip to Dunhuang. I've been to Ilocos, Philippines. They have a desert-like sand but they don't have camels. It's like a sand within a city of soil.

Reading your blog Dear Jeremy, reading your blog is like eating the best meal! Thank you so much for writing. We wish you less wind (from the wrong side), less dust, amazing places, friendly people. Later you can laugh over the bad days and the good days will keep you in the saddle :-). "What's hard to endure is sweet to remember!"
Many greetings from Switzerland (www.fahrradtour.ch)
Thanks a lot! Thanks a lot for the encouragement! It feels great to read your message. life on the road is amazing although it sometimes (often) gets challenging. Thinking of all the wind and dust around Jiayuguan makes me smile a lot now. I know there is more to come in Xinjiang! How have you been? Best from Jeremy
