Egypt sounds exciting
Remember, you can sleep when you get home. Or maybe when you meet Clem. Hope your visit to the Pyramids goes well. We're doing the same old stuff. Get up, go to work, eat supper, watch TV, sleep, get up.... We love your pictures. Be careful, take care. Hope to hear from you soon, Love, Dad

Wow, just beautiful! (And the scenery is nice, too! ;) ) I hope your last day in Istanbul was glorious! I can't wait to hear about Cairo.

Sounds great! Makes me want to use the sauna at my gym now, but somehow I don't think the experience would be quite the same. ;) I love the picture of you!! Istanbul sounds like one of your favorite places.

Huh. The twirling to be closer to ectasy and 'God' reminds me a bit of the Shakers. Istanbul sounds like a great city, and it must be so opposite of anything you'd see here. The Spoonmaker's Diamond! What a find! Are you looking through rubbish heaps in your spare time? ;) 86 carat, wow!

My ex-supervisor went to Turkey a few years ago and dyed her hair really dark before going. I guess I know why now! Ah, men. The same the world over? ;) Istanbul sounds great and I'm glad you have a friend to share the sights with!

Sounds exotic
I'm enjoying your descriptions of everything. Kinda wish I could be there, too. Please be careful, but enjoy yourself. By the way... I've also heard of Turkish Delight, but can't wait to read your description. Love, Dad

I'm so enjoying hearing about your travels almost as they happen! Acient Mycenae sounds fascinating. I was always interested in those myths. And lots of stray kitties! I would love that. hee! *hugs*

Wonderful!
Sounds like you're having a great time, and I love hearing about all the people and animals you're meeting. The pictures will be beautiful, I'm sure! Seems so weird for me to be sitting here in my basement office while you're on the opposite side of the world.

I glad you're enjoying yourself
Sounds like you're having another eventful trip. I'm glad you are finding companions to share time with. Stacy had a beautiful wedding in Disney World yesterday. She and Frank were both very excited and happy. I'll send you some pictures. I'm packing up to return to Kentucky today. I've had a good trip and have spent time with most of the relatives on this side of the family. Hope the rest of the trip goes as well as it has so far. Love, Dad

Animals
I love your comment on there being a lot of nonhuman life in the city. I think that's what we're missing here in America. Sure we have stray cats and dogs, and squirrels, but we've moved all of the animals out as if there's some extra space for them to go... when there's not! Can't wait for pics! :D

glad you got there alright
and thank you for the Happy Birthday. I'm packing for the trip to Orlando. I'll take my computer so I can keep up with your blog. It was good to talk with you today. I'll make sure to book mark the blog for Mom. I guess you'll be reading this on Friday morning, Good Morning. I'll email you later today or Saturday. And, of course, I'll have my cell phone on. Love, Dad
