Depending on the strikes in Italy by Feb. 11th, I will either be picked up by my childhood friend, Courtney Weeks, in Rome or taking a train to her in Caserta which is outside of Naples. I will spend the night in Caserta with Courtney and her husband , Andy, before heading to Naples and Sorrento the following day.

Hey all! I started this blog so friends and family can join me along my trip. I thought it would be easier than a mass e-mail everyday (for those not on Facebook). Instead, everyone can just check on me here! My trip begins when I depart NY's JFK at 5:20 PM on Monday, February 6th and arrive in Rome at 11:20 AM on Tuesday, February 7th. From here, I will eventually proceed to Naples, Sorrento, Geneva, Zermatt, Paris, Bordeaux, Madrid, Lisbon, and then Barcelona. I will end my trip in Barcelona and fly home on Monday, March 12th, arriving in NY early in the evening after 5 weeks of travel.... full info
