Southern Africa Adventure

a trip by James Evans
From: May 30th 2016
Until: August 23rd 2016

Starting with a few days in Paris and then Amsterdam, I will be flying out to Northern Tanzania to stay with the Masai people in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. For 4 weeks I will be living and volunteering with them, helping to build an extension onto the school and attempting to teach a little bit of English to the children. From there, my trip will take me to Zanzibar, then to Lusaka in Zambia via the TAZARA railway. In Zambia, I will spend time in Livingston, next to the famous Victoria Falls. Afterwards, I will fly to Johannesburg and spend 3-4 weeks making my way round South Africa via Port Elizabeth and the Garden Route; my journey will end in Cape Town.
