Hello!!! just a quick hello from another fairly warm place - I hope you arent still homeless in laos - this is (fairly pathetically, sorry) the first time Ive read the blog, its great! The elephants especially... im a fan of camels myself, theyre everywhere here! still no pet one though heloise, but one of our staff has a donkey! anyway its too hot to sit on the computer, hope youre still ahving an amazing time lots of love xx

Oh does my Budha look big in this? Well that was fun, supposed to be doing dissertation reading in the lib but much prefer reading about your travels instead, so I'm blaming you guys if I get a 2.2! lol. Have had a crazy weekend of conservation and Jesters with Dani's old housem8s. Christine (one of Claires friends from Germany) is also staying with us and they've gone to the Isle of Wightiness today + another Jester tonight eeeeek! Overdosing me thinks. doxy lol - doxy is short for doxycycline. It's an anti malarial antibiotic... I am just about to go out and buy 70 tablets of it (against all my beliefs, but better than malaria..i think/hope!)

Having booked our tickets back in August, we got far too excited far too soon and felt ready to go by September. Hoorah - 5 months later, and we finally can! German lesbian boots - check, khaki explorer shirt - check. Basically all the important stuff is packed so bring it on!
For the first leg the plan is: wander around Thailand, then skip along into Laos, chill our way down through Vietnam and across Cambodia.
