Photos... Hi Ken, all the photos in this blog are so beautiful! You should put them together in a book or something, and sell them! They are so artistic. You are living a great experience! Enjoy it! Have you been in any Buddhist temple? Have you seen anyone meditating? Sorry for the silly questions, but I have never been in Asia! Have fun! G
books... you must miss your books those shelves are looking sad:(I could go to the shed and say hi to the ones that are here!
Other than that it sounds like an amazing experience even if singapore is not quite as fantastic as the other places...
beautiful Kenny---THanks for telling me you had a blog...pshh i would have been all over this months ago. I am guessing you are in Singapore now and I hope its amazing. These pictures are beautiful, I miss Chengde. I stayed there for a week and I really loved that city, it wasn't too big so I felt like I could have so many more adventerous outings rather than just touristy ones. Your picture of the sledgehammer---do you remember when I was telling you about when we climbed that?? Did you climb it? We were so dead tired and this old Chinese woman told us that she was 80 years old and we were teenagers and she grabbed our hands and led us up the rest of the way.
Keep having an amazing time, call me whenever you have a chance.
Miss you
Laura
the nag When you are in Singapore DO NOT spit, drink, party and anything else that could put you in jail. Basically I think you should just study the whole time. I don't want you getting in trouble there!!!!!!
Amazing! The pictures of the great wall are absolutely amazing! I can't even imagine how incredible it must have been to see the wall. Keep up the pictures and comments-I really enjoy seeing them.
from Viña del Mar Kenny, fue muy entrete leer acerca d tu experiencia en Chile. Es divertido saber lo que piensa un extranjero sobre tu país natal. Me alegra mucho que te haya gustado tu estadia en en este pais.
I just happened across your blog and I am in awe of what you are seeing! The sights are just beautiful and I can only imagine what it's like to be there. Hope you find what your are looking for in your journeys and remain safe throughout your travels!
Unbelievably Beautiful Kenny: Looks like your trip is going well. I'm so glad you have the computer literacy (and the inclination and energy) to set up this blog so we can all enjoy your travels. The photographs are so beautiful, it's hard to believe these places are real. They look like paintings. Enjoy and be careful. Fondly, Nancy; Friend of Ishmael
Hi All,
I'm changing my intro. a little bit again. If you're reading this and you don't know me, I am a student at Arizona State (studying Sociology, Political Science, Gender Studies, and Spanish) who had a little must-get-out moment and decided the best way to do that would be to do study abroad for a year. But in four different places. SO.... Finished my studies abroad in Chile and China, and more than halfway through in Singapore. I'm basically done towards the end of November, then I go to Northern Vietnam and Laos for a week, the Philippines for a week, Tokyo for several days, Senegal... full info
