In July of 2009 our family vacationed in Estes Park, Colorado. This was our second trip to Estes Park, the first being in 1977 with my grandparents. This entourage included Susie and myself; my parents, Carolyn and Joe; my sister Susan, her husband Jim, and their three kids, Cole, Emily and Molly; and my brother Tom, wife Julie, and their daughter Madeline.

We are Indiana natives on a quest to experience the wonders of North America before we become too old and cranky to enjoy them. Our goals include visiting as many state and national parks as we can, hiking as many trails as we can, enjoying fruity rum beverages on as many beaches as we can, and spotting as much wildlife as we can. (Susie might dispute that last one as she has an adversion to bears and large cats for some reason.)
