We are Indiana natives on a quest to experience the wonders of North America before we become too old and cranky to enjoy them.

Our goals include visiting as many state and national parks as we can, hiking as many trails as we can, enjoying fruity rum beverages on as many beaches as we can, and spotting as much wildlife as we can. (Susie might dispute that last one as she has an adversion to bears and large cats for some reason.)

We joined this site to document our travels and to be able to share them with our family and friends... or anyone else who may find them interesting.

Note: Susie wants to point out that the "Hoosier" in "HoosierHikers" in no refers to the Indiana University Hoosiers, who are despised and scorned by good Purdue fans everywhere.
