This trip to Italy has given me so many great experiences that being from a small town, I can’t even wrap my head around. Remembering that the first time I ever used a parking meter was this summer in California, is slightly terrifying after all the big city things I have learned in Italy. This past weekend 38 students, professors, and alumni jumped a train with a group ticket and headed to Rome. If I had to pick a phrase to describe Rome, I would call it a beautiful mess. We got to visit so many amazing places, but traveling with a group of 38 isn’t easy, let alone in a tourist city with a population of almost 3 million.
