The Rayburn I never knew what one of those was till I met you Carrie. I must say that the new one looks very smart. Hope it keeps your toes warm. I hope all's well with you. Lots of Love, Roz
reyburn yes the old one does look sad! the new one is just like the one we had as children in our kitchen. still remember making baked apples in the oven. on sunday nights my mother always boiled the white washing on it. good luck and enjoy!!
catching up on your blog today. My computer has been in for repair! I love your snowman and it is also nice to see a pic of Uncle Roy.Love to all, sue x
Ho Ho Ho ..Merry Christmas I am a bit late but haven't really touched my computer very much lately....been outside in the sunshine!
Anyway, what I wanted to say was ....I LOVE your hats aaand the bubbles and I want to make sure I have some next year :)
I also like hot Christmas dinner and I might just make that happen too, including brussel sprouts (which I absolutely detested as a child but my daddy made us eat them ugh!)
Christmas/New Year Glad to see you all had a great Christmas. We had a great day at mum's place where there was the gathering of the clan (well, not quite all of us - but a good representation. The following Saturday we had another get together at Pat and Kerry's and caught up with their kids and grandkids. Christmas wasn't too hot this year, in fact it was rather pleasant. However, since then it has got hotter and hotter. Today was 34 degrees - a real stinker.
Happy New Year to all our Welsh rellies.
Frozen Assets Hello Carry and Alex
wow!! what amazing photographs with frozen rivers and water fall - we have just suffered............... a tropical heat wave not only high temperatures in the mid thirties Centigrade but extreme humidity!!!!!!!!
As this title indicates I hope your assets are not being affected or frozen with the current worldwide economical climate - I have had to re-think our financial planning with some minor adjustments to prepare for my immenent retirement if Robyn permits.
The children are playing cricket in the garden adjacent to your cottage whilst I am watching SA and Australia fight out their final test.
What is going to happen with english the cricket coach and captain?? it appears one will have to go - just like me!
Bye for now lots of love say hello from me to your mum (grandma) and dad (grandpa) and a very happy new year to you both.
xxLeigh
Wow it looks frosty all right You won't believe it but it was 32 degrees yesterday in Whangarei Town Centre! We were so hot all we could do was sit there and doze!! Ha Ha. Love Robyn x
Great photo's great people, great place, shame about the party hats!!!!!!
Nice to see the whole family together at christmas. very nice to have talked with you on our boxing day morning lots of love Leigh
Great to see you all... enjoying your Christmas feast. You don't seem to be starving - somebody (or bodies) must have worked hard to prepare all that! We had a lovely time too at Robyn and Leigh's home - Robyn (and her helpers) also had to work hard to organise it all.
BRRRRRR!!!!!! Looks very cold. It reminds me of a winter's morning in Canberra. We are having some strange weather - boiling hot one minute, and quite cool the next. Today has been wet and 21. Rick is in Cairns (far northern Australia) and it has a minimum of 25 and a top of 34 with 100% humidity - not pleasant. He has decided to call it a day and will be home early next week. Love to all. Roz
