I love it!!!!!!! This is an amazing blog with great pix, thanx bubby!
Why did MGM take you to Fiesole? What were all the hands about? Please give your camera to Becky and ask her to take you picture more often. I love Becky but I want to see you more often!!!
fiesole Haley - great write-up of Fiesole, which I've never been too. Now I can't wait to go back to Italy sometime and see it! You are so right about the Marcus vs. Haley tasting videos... they are both great!
I don't know if we told you, but we met a couple on a train from Rome to Florence one. They were on their honeymoon. We saw them 3 more times in Florence and two times in Rome. It was really weird! Now, almost 13 years later, we still get Christmas cards from them every year!
what a writer you are! I loved reading this -- love your descriptions, quite funny too. Your dad gave me the link to this log, am sure he must be proud of your writing too, you are SO good at it! :) Keep it up lady and you'll be published someday!
Plus, didn't you LOVE Florence (Flo, i like to call her;), went for 2 weeks, we were supposed to leave after 8 days ot go to rome for a while, but we stayed in flo for almost the entire time, there was so much to see, so many inventors, the piazzas, the vecchio, i fell in love... i dream that we live there. I've got a book for you to read, i'll get it to your mom, about Tuscany area. Good stuff!
Hope to see you one of these days! :)

through your eyes Hay - I'm loving the blog and seeing Italy through your eyes! Keep blogging what's in you heart and stay in the moment to fully live each and every breath of this experience.
Hugs,
Anita
Sounds like you're havin fun! Hi Haley,
Glad you're havin a good time. Jon got back from outdoor ed, said he had a good time. He did the lifesaver test. Katie and I went camping with the girl scouts Friday night. Saturday at the encampment we had to solve the "mystery of the missing s'mores". I think all the girls had a good time. Good but very very tiring. Monday it's back to school and all that. Enjoy your time off. Looking forward to seeing your pics!
love this! This is great!
Can I please have some paragraphs?
Did you get to see the original baptistry door panels? Did you get to see the choir lofts by Donatello and della Robbia? One of those is Grandma's favorite beautiful Florentine thing to look at, after David of course, I just can't remember which she prefers.
Haley,
It looks like the video of the entrance hall didn't quite work. It shows a video screen but says the video is 0 seconds long.
I'm picturing everything as you write about. I loved the David. I thought the partially finished ones (which I think are there also) were creepy tho. It's like they were real people locked in stone forever!

the streets of florence Bongo bongo... now that brings back some memories! You really summed it up well when you mentioned walking "evoking all of your senses." Too True!
It's great hearing about what you guys are doing each day. Please keep 'em coming!
more, more, more I love this. This is what I want to read. What you're doing, how it affects your senses, how it makes you feel. Paint me a picture with your words that takes me there...
"i get my first taste of florence" Tell me....what did it sound like, look like, smell like? Mom wants to know. What was it like to exit the airport into a different country? What was your very first impression as your drove to PSC in the taxi? Tell me more....
