Seoul / Soul Comparisons A few years ago here in Asia the Korean tourist board ran ads with the slogan "Your Seoul Our Seoul" (if you're English you'll get it)

What's Up Hey Girl,
I haven't talked to you in a while. Seemed we had a bad connection the last couple times you called and since our e-mail was down for a while, I'm behind on the adventures of Heather. Hope you are doing great. Keeping you in my prayers. Blog or call when you get a chance. Love You!
Miss Lesley's watching! First of all young lady, don't think that it puts me at ease knowing the reason you won't go out at night is be/c some wacko scared the b-jeebies out of you! No warm fuzz from the lady with fuscia walls. Second of all, my favorite picture is the one of you smiling. i miss you every day. You are precious (make sure you wear lipstick). When I was in highschool, I took a 5th French class (took two my Sr. year) and it was a humanities course (French art history) taught in French 100%, no English allowed for the year. Anyway, it was very very very cool. My favorite class of highschool. My favorite artists were also the pointelists. My favorite is Georges Seurat. The Sunday paintings make me want to be in the paintings.
next subject, why do you sound so surprised that royalty would have the same taste as Miss Lesley? Nothing wrong with hot pink walls. You know at the palace, they reserved that room for the REALLY special guests. (wink).
We just got back from Chicago. Maddie had two great auditions this past week. Denver for Les Mis - the director actually came out to talk to Craig to tell him how much he liked maddie. However he was going to "have to" cast locally. (bummer. They should have told Craig that when he called to schedule the audition around flight times!). Then we went to Chicago for the mary Poppins audition. Maddie made it all the way to the end. Now we just sit and wait. They said call backs will be some time between now and january 2009. Gee thanks. They brought the kids in by 20's and cut 75% in the first cut! Then they measured them, learned a song, sang again, then did theatre games (to see how diretable the kids were). Maddie was still standing at the end of the day. Now you may pray that she gets a call back.
I'm proud of you sweet angel. Say your prayers before you go to bed. Mr. Craig and I are going to have a cup of tea, and I will fill him in on your adventures. Love you. Miss Lesley.
omg! Omg! heather everything is beautiful over there (good job ms. picture taker) glad your enjoying the good food =) Jasmina herself was having a bit of a italian craving lately lol, but I bet nothing compares to the real thing=)
Keep having fun!
Ou est tu??? Well, I know Austria is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, but your friends, fans, and blog followers are missing you! Even just a little comment would cheer us greatly!
Hey Just wanted to let you know we are keeping up with you and your adventures--some good and some bad. The good always seems to come out eventually. Enjoy yourself!! Love, Melanie
Rome I'm so glad you're there but sorry you didn't bump into "the Man." THere will be no more bummer days in Rome. That's behind you. I am hoping you have a CIAO t-shirt from myoffice and wear it proudly (with a cute skirt of course). I am enjoying your stories. I am concerned though that your rear end is being pinched? I've heard that about those dirty Italians? While you're there, keep your eyes/ears open for Lanzetta's and Giamencerri's - those are my peeps! Just curious. I love you every day. Miss Lesley
Buon Giorno!!!! Hey Girlie-Girl! Such is life while traveling abroad. The "hiccups" can seem overwhelming when you're in the moment. Glad to hear things are shaping up. As for dirty and a bit freaky, I would have to agree. I was there in mid-August back in the early 80s, and it was oppressively hot, a bit stinky, and WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE!!! However, a visit to the Vatican and Sistine Chapel really seemed to help smooth the rough edges so to speak. Go with the flow kiddo and soak it all in. Hope you were able to hook up with Mayonnaise!!! ;) Love ya! Karen
Hello everyone! My name is Heather and I'm 22 years old. Currently I am in South Korea teaching English. I keep this little blog so that my friends back home can keep up with my adventures! I'm very random and silly, so if you don't know me already, well, you've been warned. Feel free to contact me if you'd like, and I hope everyone that reads this will at least tolerate it, if not thoroughly enjoy it! :-)... full info
