Greetings I like your description of my city. Now i am living in Lima Capital of Peru. I remember when I lived there, so i feel very proud of Huancayo.
I hope you will visit soon again.

I just stumbled on your blog following a search for 'Auchlochan' on google. I am a pilot and fly into Glasgow on a daily basis, on numerous occasions i have looked down at this oasis in the hills but couldn't quite place it. the last time i flew over i had the sense to check the co-ordinates from the gps and with a little help from google earth found the place instantly. I'm not exactly sure what i was expecting or hoping for but having read a little about the place and your peice i hope it is sometime before i visit on foot.
hope your parents are happy, it really does look like a beautiful spot.

fantastic photographs Really all the phtographs of varanasi did inspire me too much and definitely one would like to visit this beautiful city situated at the bank of holy river ganges. Thanx for the work done by you.
Wow, I´m in Huancayo now, just got back from Concepcion and Ingenio. Tomorrow we are going to the glacier...about 18,000 feet. Sounds amazing, very excited. But thats really high.
Only when it's clear This lake is truely beautiful, however, it's hazy most days. There is a ton of garbage around the shores, but none the less if you catch a clear day, it could be breath taking
Next time each woman had on average three husbands?!
Next time you come across a place where each man has on average three or more wifes (but not by religion), then let me know asap!
its a shame that ppl frm abroad come over to kolkata n get to see just da beggars, rickshaws and everything else to do vth poverty.thats not fair.n thats a very one-sided potrayal of the lovely city vch has soooo much more to offer.

did not know until Yes, until I read your travel blog: it does not seem part of Britain? Definitely a place worth going, but wonder if there's any airport there as I do not like and in fact maybe can't, travel by sea? Heard about there's a prison there, well I guess it is not the one that imprisoned the whos it again? charles 1?
Great reading!
Toy train chugs I would love to see you re-visit Darjeeling in the Toy Train and make a critical assessment now vis-a-vis your last visit. Darjeeling, I understand, is fast losing its charm due to some reckless construction.
I've written about it; if you also chip in with some critical remarks, it'd help.
Sideways Being a southern California native, and having grown up visiting Westwood movie theaters, I find your perspective on the area interesting. I do take issue with your description of Sideways as boring--I don't think I have ever laughed as hard as I did during that movie. Happy travels.
Back in London I'm now back in London. The sale of the land is not yet complete, I have agreed a price and paid the deposit, so hopefully all will go well. As far as I know all the children at Bushfire are well.
hi,
your blog is awesome. i'm a missionary kid (my parents were missionaries in india up until this year) and now i've settled with my family in australia. my new church here supports Bushfire, and i've been given one of the children to pray for. his name is Ernest. i was looking for information on him, so i went looking on the net for a website, and i found your blog. i still havent found anything about ernest, but i enjoyed looking around your blog a lot! thankyou.
