Nice scenery, but can you also take some pictures of the local girls as you pass through your travels - just to add a further dimension of interest to your pictures. - Thanks.

Short but not clumsy cack handed
Gary, Thanks for the name check, even if it was a derogatory comment about my height. Whilst I might not be quite as tall as you, I am grateful to God that I do not possess the clumsy cack-handed destructive capabilities that you have been gifted with. Arai's ARE excellent, they just never had a Murphy "off the destruction scale" robot in their test labs.... probably because they never thought such cack-handedness existed. I predict most of the stuff you have brought with you will be rendered useless by the time you get back.... if you haven't lost it. Yours sincerely, Proud Aria owner

Guinea Pig for biking gear
Dude, Can you continue with the review of general kit, accessories and bike. Whilst your trip is interesting, I plan to stop my subscription to RiDE and just read your comments to get the latest reviews... please also include relevant pictures and include a star rating system if possible. Thank You.

Grey skies
Gary although the scenes look terrific the sky reminds me of a comment made by one one of the guys I worked with from Zimbabwe, who when I asked him his opinion of the UK said he called it "mud island" because the sky seemed to be permanently that shade.

"Ulvik Eidjford Hardangervidda Voringfossen" - wasn't he in Abba?

I'm sure your hotel room surpassed the Birmingham travel lodge. A Pot Noodle machine in reception as the only form of catering is less inviting than soup and meatballs.

helmet cam
Gary Hope your helmet cam films improve in content. I'ld rather watch the view from the thing with it turned off. Have a great trip and ride safely. Bruce

The big trip
You finally made it then, we had doubts about you reaching the ferry. Glad you didn't heave on the Asus turning your blog into a bleurgh. As for Newcastle I think Mr Chandler is from Sunderland, but those Geordies and Mackams get on so well anyway...
