AUSSIE Hi Chris and Caroline, You are well seasoned travellers now with so many experiences behind you. Australia is a huge country with so many different climates, as you know we have been to Sydney did you visit the Blue Mountains, when we were at Bondi Beach it was quite cold, Grandad loves Darwin but too hot for me. Its great to know that everything is going along well for both. what a lifetime experience it is for you both I wish we could have done it at your age enjoy every moment. We think of you often and love you loads, love Grandmum, Grandad.
Oz Hello again. Thanks for the latest installment. It was good to see the photos of Oz, finally showing that you got there at last. Your photos are great and you are beginning to look quite tanned on them!! It is hard seeing the lovely blue skies and clear waters when we are all shivering at home!! It was good to talk to you both on the phone and on messenger yesterday. I hope you enjoy your week house sitting. have you managed to see any koalas or kangaroos yet? Don't do too much in those high temperatures and don't forget slip, slap, slop!!! Speak to you soon. Look after each other. Love Mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

re New Years Eve Hi Chris and Caroline
Looks like you had a great time over Christmas and New Year. Wish we were out there with you. Finally beginning to realise that the celebrations are over for this year. We stayed away right until the day back to work. Rachael has gone down to London - Wed to meet people her own age!!
Hope we can speak on the Internet again soon. Thanks for the great pictures and comments. Dad F
Christmas in Penang Thanks for the Penang blog. It was nice to see some familiar sights. I can remember visiting the Kek Lok Si temple and how lovely it was. I can imagine that Penang will have changed quite a bit since we were last there, it sounds like its becoming more westernised!! I'm glad you enjoyed the hawkers too!! What was the weather like over the holiday, you look quite suntanned on your photographs and on msn. It was funny to hear you were quite close to the mosque and were woken up by the early calls to prayer!! I remember it well! Keep up the good work on the blog, great to hear your adventures. Love always Mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
New year Hello again, thanks for the latest blog. The pictures look amazing and it sounds like you have had a good Christmas and are continuing to cram lots of things in. The hotel in KL looks lovely and you certainly seem to be living the high life. No doubt you will soon be moving on to Singapore ready for your move to Sydney. What date do you actually leave and have you fixed up anywhere to stay yet? We had a good Christmas with the family despite missing you and are back at dreary school today. Thanks for keeping in touch, it was good to speak to you over the holiday. Love you loads, Mumxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
New Year What a lovely time you have had in KL. Glad to hear that you have got to Melaka anyway - sorry about the bus ride - how long was it? Dad has posted off your stuff to Maureens - have you kept in contact with Maureen and Pierrette in Oz - so that they know when you will be arriving? Mum very pleased with your photos again and I have printed these off - it is great for her to be able to see where you are. Tons of love to you both - Mum G
Have sent some mail to Maureen's address in Australia over Christmas.
Today I despatched a parcel which should arrive at, more or less, the same time that you arrive in New South Wales.
Hope you had a great New Year's Eve and look forward to our next chat on the skype!
Meanwhile (for Chris), Chelsea dropped another two points tonight, drawing at Villa Park. Who knows?, even Liverpool might catch them!
Christmas Had a great time at Pete and Heathers and little Jack was really sweet - did you get the photos? Your hotel in KL looks very sumptuous I am VERY JEALOUS!! Shame it is so far away. Have sent you the website of hotel we are staying at over David's 18th birthday night - his main and only request was that we were not there!!! Keep having a great time you two - love you very much Mum xxxxxxxxx
