OK, preparations for my trip have been relatively easy. Sure, applying for a Russian VISA was a lot like writing my master's thesis again, but when the VISA arrived it was slick looking and well worth the research into the last 15 years of my life; where I had lived, what I had ate and where I had . . . well, only the Russian Embassy needed to know that last bit. Now I am trying to get my travelblog up and running, so all of you can keep up with my trek across Europe and a smidgen of Asia.
