Thank you. This was a great site I could send a student to when she asked the question... "Are llamas better than alpacas?"
Fabulous photos, as well.
Cheers!
Hello from Crested Butte, Colorado Hi Steph, I'm glad to hear from you. Dart sounds a bit like Crested Butte! Love the pictures! BTW, CB is in western Colorado, in the Rocky mountains, 30 miles from the nearest big town with the hospital and grocery and airport as its highlights. I've been here for about 3 weeks helping your cousin Laura with her new baby, Eva Marie (born 10/15, 5'10oz, 17 1/2" long. Both mother and baby are doing well, although there's "sleepless in CB" to contend with! Uncle Bob flies in today. We'll be back in VA 11/2, hoping to move back to Greenwich in March. Have a good time away. Miss you. Happy Halloween! Auntie M

Things familiar:) Hi Steph, This place seems like home away from home. It seems like you are happy in you're somewhat familiar surroundings. THE FARM! Your pictures are incredible and it is wonderful that you are having the time of your life with all your travels, both good & bad. Really sorry that you had to get a fluffy pillow the hard way, oh well. Really missed you at the wedding but I am sure you got that message from Mom. Ck your email as I attached a wed pix. Licia has been following your blogs & thinks it wonderful!
Continue to have fun but mostly be safe. It is great to hear of your travels in such depth as I will never make it to those places for sure. Luv Ya, L
You go girl!! Hi Steph... Glad that all is going well. You have been in my thoughts many times over the months you've been traveling. When I was home for Paula's wedding you were missed but I knew you were roaming the earth and enjoying life. I was not privy to your travel blog until a few nights ago. I've spent the last two nights getting caught up and have been thoroughly entertained by your entries. Sounds like you are absorbing the world around you and truly enjoying your experience. Stay safe and I will now keep checking in. Take care... Cuz Carla :) PS - FYI - Jason and I moved to Texas.

Your journal is very interesting Stephanie, I received your postcard today with this site. It sounds like you are having a super time. Dr. John and I did something like what you are doing about 23 years ago however we camped into the interior of Mexico and were gone for about 5 months and until our money ran out!!! God Bless and continue to have a wonderful time. Love, Denise and John
NJ So wait is that like cars we have down the shore here in Seaside? I suppose I can ask Paul haha!
yeah yeah so I am behind on my reading - but talking to you on the phone (pre-phone bill) was MUCH more fun!
Steph,
I so enjoyed the balance between setting the stage with your verbal comments and letting the pictures do the work in this blog. I have a sense of experiencing Easter Island.
