at last Well done Bonny lass, we are so pleased that you finally conquered your fish phobia and managed to get in and see the wonders that other people up to now have only been able to tell you about. Maybe when you go to Uni you could join the dive club there, and get to see some of the wrecks and the amazing seal colony at the Farnes. Hope you enjoy the rest of the trip as much here in Oz.
Love John and Steph

Just checking in........... Hi Anthony and Emma - Tried to get you at Mission Beach but as you said no signal - nice to speak to you today (Friday) even though it was only for a couple of minutes - I must get another card from the Post Office!!! We had a lovely time at Alton Towers - the weather was brilliant and believe it or not we went on nearly every ride, yes even Nemesus - however, we gave the Oblivion a big miss. Will give you a ring over the weekend and catch up on what has been happening in Cairns. Take care of yourselves - Love to you both, Mum, Dad, Andrew, Adam, Paws and Oscar xxxxxx
think I have cracked it (not before time) it is so great to get your blogs and pictures, you will never be the same again either of you - lots of love grandma Betty
City So glad you liked Brisbane, it really is a beautiful city and a lot of travellers don't bother to go there, perhaps they should? Sydney gets all the fame but maybe it's not deserved. Enjoy the beauty and quiet of northern Queensland- Cairns will be your next busy stop!
take care,
Love Steph
PS winter in Coffs- 27 degrees today!
keep on bloging Hello from Coffs harbour - really enjoyed the Fraser blog- told you it was good there! from the sounds of it your alcohol intake has increased since you left us. As you know it is not something I have ever induldged in, oops my nose has got even bigger suddenly. We have visitors from Brisbane this weekend, no prizes for guessing who so will say hello for you. Sorry about the Man U game Ant. Love John and Steph.
What no Blogg??!! lol Seems like ages since we had a blogg? - just kidding - I know we speak on phone and text but its lovely to get a blogg. Hope your journey to Rainbow Bay/Beach was ok and you met up with your friends. Everyone is ok at home and as you know Adam is into his fifth week at work and seems to like it..... Emma, we went to a dancing competition on Saturday night and Darren and Lilia from Strictly Dancing did a latin demonstration - which was brilliant - We are going to another dancing competition in June to see Vincent and his partner from Strictly Dancing - I know Anthony, how sad is that!!! Anyway we are going to try and obtain tickets for one of the TV live performances when it starts again and will book you and Anthony (cos he likes it really, lol). Going out for our re-arranged steak night tonight, no doubt the crazy couple will be the topic of the conversation all night. Take care of yourselves - speak to you soon. Love Mum, Dad, Andrew, Adam, Paws and Oscar. (By the way Paws wasn't very happy that you talked to Oscar and didn't talk to him last week!!!!!) xxxxx

Ongoing Experience Hi Guys, glad to see you at least enjoyed the experience at Byron even though you say it was a bit too laid back for you. We really enjoyed our stays there, but I suppose we are a couple of old hippies at heart. I am more than sure you will be very comfortable at Peter and Louises, they are very good hosts. Next stop Rainbow beach? PS. Has Ant's diving qualification arrived yet? I sent it a few days ago.
Cheers John and Steph
At last success - not before time Wonderful getting all your messages and pictures - miss you lots - saw Barney yesterday and he is missing you too - lots of love xxxxxxx
Jacques Custeaux and Esther Williams eat your heart out! You are both far too young to remember these people but believe me some of the older ones amongst us will!!!!! Congratulations Anthony and well done Emma. When you get home looking forward to Scuba diving with you and Emma showing us how to 'tickle' trout!! The pictures are fantastic - particularly the under water shots!! How sad is the last supper picture - we bet you are really going to miss John and Steph. By the time you receive this you will be up in Byron, theme camping with your friends. Whoever heard of camping in a double decker bus......... did Cliff Richard visit Australia on his Summer Holidays??!!!! You'll find camping at Park Foot a bit boring after this...............lol. Take care of yourselves and keep blogging..............Lots of love, Mum, Dad, Andrew, Adam, Paws and Oscar xxxxxxx
John is really thrilled that you published such a flattering photograph of him without his permission! We will get our own back on our blog site.
Enjoy the rest of your trip and don't forget to put the insect repellant on now that you're camping......
Love Steph and John

Beaches, Beaches and even more Beaches!! Another brilliant journal - write up and pictures are Ab Fab!! Port Mac looks another lovely place and we see you are keeping up with your fitness regime - cycling (won't be able to do any stunt riding on dodgy bikes though Anthony!), swimming, walking, 'bat watching' and even 'hammocking' (Dad likes that one) but hey not a FOOTBALL in sight ...........What's going on there? - The water looks glorious - 8 beaches to choose from - can't be bad eh! - we're not surprised you were tempted to get your feet wet Emma!. Is the next step scuber diving with Anthony in Coffs Harbour? Lots of love to you both - will ring you at Steph and John's as planned Mum, Dad, Andrew, Adam, Paws and Oscar xxxxxxxxx

Crazy Couple looking Good!!!! Another Day, Anthother Hostel and Another Great Diary Entry.......... We feel like we are living the Australian life with you - well apart from the living like students bit, the living on noodles bit and the drinking jugs of lager with hot dogs bit!!!!! Anyway, everything sounds absolutely fantastic - you seem to have visited lots of interesting places in such a short period of time (is it only 22 days, 6 hours, 18 minutes and 30 seconds since you left the UK? - NOT THAT WE ARE COUNTING.......lol. The pictures are just brilliant , Gran will love the Blue Mountain waterfall scene which we think will end up in a frame - you just know how she loves her views and the bears seem to be enjoying their tub just as much as you two do.... Mind you the Crazy Couple seem to be getting Crazier - or was that just the St. Patricks Day fever taking hold!!!! The tans are looking good though - keep using the factor 50..........Hope your journey to John and Steph's house goes well - Speak to you soon Love to you both - Mum, Dad, Andrew, Adam, Paws and Oscar
at work again and jealous again! Hope you noticed that the Wake Up! was one of my recommended Sydney hostels haha! (we couldn't get in when we were there it's always that popular!)
