All our pictures are here Day 1 - Kings Canyon Our plane arrived early on our first day which was a nice way to start the trip! The weather was beautiful and the sky was bluer then I've seen it for awhile - with no clouds during our stay! So we headed straight for the car hire desk and picked up our spiffy Toyota Seca which was brand new and way too fancy for my liking. It had six gears and the windshield was so slanted I couldn't see the front of the bloody car, so it took me a few dodgy parks to work out how far or close I was parking to things. Hawaii won't know what hit it and Buckles and I show up on their shores in January. A quick overview of our trip so you can keep apprised of our trip if you're so inclined. Firstly, we fly into Honolulu, which is on the island Oahu, at about 730am Hawaii time. We have planned almost every footstep we'll make on this trip! After that we are going to dump our bags at the hotel and walk to the International Market Place to buy sexy bikinis and food and wander down to Waikiki beach until check-in. I am not a fan of the beach, but am willing to subject myself to invasive sand reaching indeterminate places because it's Hawaii! Yeah, baby! How good is our new blog. This is where we will regale you all with our tales of adventures, arguments and photos. I am sure you will love reading them as much as we enjoyed writing them. So to start off, yesterday I (Jennie aka Keechy), wrote an itinerary for our trip to Uluru because Buckles was too "tired" and went to have a nap. Lazy bum. Unfortunately the Ayers Rock Resort where we wanted to stay was booked for our first night in the wilderness, so we decided to stay in Kings Canyon which is about a 3 hour drive from Uluru!
