Great job! Dear Greg, I am most surprised as I thought their support would be provided exactly as in any other Asian countries; but hey, don´t get discouraged, with your everyday work, I am sure you´re contributing a great deal to their betterment of their linguistic skills, and that´s what´s important. Keep travelling, I am jealous.
Exciting times! Sorry to hear about your frustrations at work Greg, but it's excellent to hear of your new plans! Looking forward to reading all about it :)
Hey there!! Thanks guys, hope all is going great "down unda"! Yea teaching here is a bit frustrating, but it's almost over I just really need a break from the classroom and get back on the road at least for a month. Looking forward to some damn cheese lol..sounds trivial, but really this is the first country I've ever been to where they have no local cheese and people for the most part don't even like it ..Blasphemy! lmao..thanks again for the comment!! Looking forward to some adventure..55 days and counting!! :)
Thanks! Hey buddy, yea I have enjoyed Vietnam, it's just working here that is annoying..well Vietnam has gotten old..maybe it's just me lol ..looking forward to some new places for sure! Thanks again!!
Decisions, decisions On the road again is a good idea. You've worked hard now time to plan for a little exploring. All of your options sound great. We loved the Philippines. Ren and Drew (travel bloggers have just finished a month in Malaysia) The wrote several blogs and you may want to check them out. Lots of great food to eat. http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Malaysia/blog-839053.html So many places and so little time. Eager to hear what you decide. We will be following along as always.
Thanks! Hey there, yea I'm starting to get burned out..it's been almost 2 years since I had any resemblance of backpacking..so I'll take a few months and enjoy and get rejuvenated and go back to teaching..I was thinking though I should do Sri Lanka and India for a few months as when I am finished I'll most likely come back to Asia to teach for at least 6 months and after that I can do the Asian countries I listed..I have been following Ren and Drew for a while now and have read all of their Malaysian blogs! ( Part of the reason I'm getting that "itch" again lol!! Thanks for the comment and following! it is always appreciated! Buen Viaje!!
Absoluteky guys, its very nice although as you can see it was a bit cloudy the whole time, still great though and needed the 2 days away! How's your trip going? still in Malaysia?
Thanks Lili Thanks so much for taking a peek at my blogs, yes the food here is just amazing! Some of the best I've had on my travels so far. How these people stay so skinny is beyond me lol! Happy travels!!!!

And here´s the singing teacher :) Just for trying that appetising food I would sing and dance even though I suck at singing :) Great experience, and it seems you enjoyed it lots, congratulations
Love the food photos! I still think of the delicious coconut toffee we bought on a boat trip around the Mekong Islands. If we go back to Vietnam I definitely want to go back and get some more :)
It's truly amazing Vietnam is quickly moving up the rankings of my favorite countries visited list, the food and atmosphere are just incredible! Thanks for taking a peek and commenting I do appreciate it!
I can see why you posted this after you left Tashkent... You will love Vietnam. A number of TBers have or are teaching English there, with no negative reports thus far! I spent a number of years there, mostly before the Vietnam War. And since then, the attitude I found as an American was "forgive and forget" and friendliness.
Hey Bob! Thanks for the comment! I have heard a ton of good things about teaching and living there so I am really looking forward to it!! Thanks again Bob and I wish you and yours a very happy New Year!
Interesting Was interesting to read this blog, not often you see something coming out of Uzbekistan. Very interesting indeed! Good luck on your future travels in Asia. Me and a buddy of mine will hit Moscow sometime next year, if your paths have taken you there perhaps a glass of local beer might sound right. =)
Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to read my blog I do appreciate it! I just wanted to put an informative blog about what I experienced working there so other teachers who come across my blog can have some kind of clue what they are getting into. In the future, not sure when, but in the next couple of years I do want to take the trans-siberian railway from Beijing to Moscow so it is possible we can get a cold one if you're still there when I get there! Happy travels!

I'm a wanderer of this amazing earth discovering the bounties it holds. I've been around the world, not as many as some, but more than others and enjoying my life. Well, it's been quite a journey this past year it started going from Vietnam to LA for a week August 2015 to visit a friend to the greatest city in Mexico, Oaxaca where I got the opportunity to see Monte Albon and the AMAZING (let me say again) AMAZING food then a bus ride from Tapachula, Mexico to Panama City (3days) to stay with one of my great friends for a week, then from Carti a multi day trip through the islands of San Blas on... full info
