So to get from Hanzhou to Shenzhen we were to take the Bullet train. The train reaches over 240 kph with the top speed I saw on the screen being 236 kph. The journey was around 1000 miles with it taking in total over 10.5 hours. There are numerous stops on the way although the same train for the whole journey. The departure was at 7.37am at Hangzhou station. The largest rail station in Asia. The set up was like an airport in terms of a departures and arrivals sections. To enter the departures you also needed to go through luggage Secruity and had to have your ticket present. So after a 3 hour coach journey after spending the night in Shanghai, me and an english speaking Mexican girl who had arrived Thursday evening, we arrived in Hangzhou. This was the location we was to carry out our orientation. It was by far much hotter and a little less polluted here in comparison to Shanghai although the sky's were still very white. We met with a Chinese correspondent to the Tefl china group and made our way to their head office. Here we completed extra paperwork and had a living in china orientation. So topics came up such as political views, telling us not to mention or talk about topics including the going ons in countries bordering china etc. Censorship is a very big deal for the local government in china. So I'm currently on my plane from Frankfurt to Shanghai about just over an hour into the flight over Wroclaw, and saying that I have had an eventful journey so far is putting it lightly. I had gotten to Manchester airport well in advance which was fine. I had time to relax and have some food before going into departures. Finally got into departures to find my flight had been delayed by 40mins. My transfer between flights was 60minutes in the first place so was not looking good. After speaking to the staff on the gate they told me that I would very much not likely make the transfer and because I was arriving at gate B and needed to get to gate Z it would be pretty much impossible. I'm completely new to this blogger business. Do I introduce myself?
