Merry Christmas I love all of the pictures that you have been posting. What a great adventure.
We might have a white Christmas here. It's been really cold and the snow isn't melting.
I would rather be with you!
We wish you and Dwight and your whole family a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
Enjoy your time in Vegas I know both of you are in Vegas. how long will you be there? will you celebrate your Christmas Eve there? anyway, enjoy your time there.
Merry Christmas and Happ New Year All is fine with my family. I now have a 3 month old great granddaughter, to go along with my 4 year old great grand son. It sounds like our families are contributing to the replacement of ourselves. I can see that you are enjoying your travels. Let me know when you get to sunny California and we can get together. Lionel
Merry christmas Thanks for the update. Where are you now? Nice pictures of your family and you. Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Hope to see you soon. Hugs
LV travels One question...how come "flat Stanley" never puts on any weight? My LV theory is...with all the walking up and down the strip, you are allowed the most decadent desserts! My hips will agree with Joanie's hips!:) Do you remember Matt Howard? His Assistant, Kathy, has been working for the owner of the Venetian for over 10 years! Happy travels - and stay off those "bulls" at the rodeo!
nest egg Been following your posts and it all sounds just great! Glad you have not violated the "Nest Egg Principle". You make me want to watch "Lost in America" again just to reinforce the perils of touching the nest egg! Congratulations on the upcoming wedding - what fun. Look forward to future updates.
Congrats All the best Ben & Jen. I see that everyone is having a blast. Wishing you all a Happy holiday season. Time to get out the snowblowers here in GE. Enjoy reading about your adventures. Stay warm and keep on trucking!!!!
Westward Ho! Loved your photos and thought about your knees and how they are holding up in cold temperatures, Joan. Did you do any hiking at Joshua Tree?
When we went to the canyon in early March06.....the lst snowfall of the season, 12" fell our lst nite in the park. When we left and went to Flagstaff, additional 12" fell and we could not get to Sedona. Second time we could not get to damn Sedona because of snow....lst time in 1989 when ND won championship game in Tempe.
Love hearing the details of what is going on out there! Love, M
Wow That's wonderful! Commitment is everything and particularly important to a couple who have been practicing commitment for close to 55 years.
Hope to have the opportunity to toast the happy couple in person in the very near future.

Brrr Vegas not my all-time favorite but infinitely better than 30 degrees! Trip sounds great; keep the blog going. Fred's coming that way today. OK to give Duane your blog info? Sabrina baptized yesterday; she came thru the ceremony like a champ. Mom & Dad also made it. Thinking of you. Art
CONGRATS!!! Here I was just savoring you blog out to LV and the wonderful Thanksgiving campout, when I got this terrific news! Congrats to ALL! Beautiful girl and ring! :) Golly, does Ben look like his handsome dad in that pic!
CONGRATS Congratulations to the beautiful couple. Hopefully they will emulate their parents in their journey for a deepening of respect, kindness, understanding, and love. Congrats also to both of you Diego and Joana.
prescience Congratulations to the soon-to-be inlaws! And was Jennifer just really good at reading Ben's intentions, or are her hands always that beautifully manicured on a camping trip? Either way, happy news--thanks for sharing!
congratulations! That is exciting news. Thanks for sharing it with us. It was so great that you got to be there with them. I love reading your blog. Happy Holidays.
Thankful I can't say I would want to spend my Thanksgiving Camping, but you sure made it sound fun. So happy we got to see some of those same sights while we were living in AZ...sorry we couldn't be there now or we'd offer you a stop on your grand tour. Keep us in mind when you make it to CA. Congrats to Ben and Jennifer. Looking forward to hearing of your next adventure.
