HAPPY YOU ARE BACK SAFELY! Hi - so happy you both made it back safe and in your new apt. I am sure you are busy arranging and putting everything away but can not wait to get together and hear all your adventures in person!
Chris
So glad to have you back! After reading about your exploits in Palm Springs and Hawaii while we were enduring the Blizzard of 2011, we thought you'd have better sense than to come back here. But here you are, and we're glad to have you. Can't wait to see you!
Duh Rose We enjoyed spending so much time with you this year on your trip to the Westcoast. We usually spend one night and than we are both off to do something else. After more than 35 years, we still enjoy each others company like we did when we first met. Looking forward to you living closer and by next year we will have more time also to do it more often.
"You're the Best"
Please drive carefully and let us know when you get back to the area.(I cannot say home!)
We will have you out for lunch or dinner, whatever you prefer.
Loved the photo of you celebrating Adam's achievement.
Steven won his aldermanic re-election on Tuesday. He worked so long and hard during his campaign. Now he's primed for a mayoral or county board run in the future! Nancy would not love that! See ya! MW
Congartulations to Adam I'm real Happy to hear about Adam. Drive safely back to Chicago. Have you made any decision on were you might end up out West?
Rich
Adam I tried twice to send you an e-mail so you could give our congratulations and love to Adam - but each time it came back saying your e-mail address was incorrect. if you get this let me knowe. Love, sis
The pics are great and we would love to rent it with Jim and family sometime so be sure to give us info.
Please give our love to Adam; I will have to search for a perfect card for the occasion.
Cannot wait to see you again. Love, M and F
Palm Springs...de je vous... Hey you two;
what a wonderful trip you are experiencing..that photo of hot tub at night is especially fun for me to remember sic 1968. I am buying Men's swimwear for Sears..My major supplier is from Philadelphia. He is there for MAGIC. I invite him to join me in the hot tub at the SPA Hotel..have to lend him a pair of swim trunks...he didn't bring any with him. mine are a couple of sizes too big..we are lying back in the hot tub..two irish coffees on a floating tray..gazing at the stars..and I say.".Bill isn't this great! Can you think of any reason why I wouldn't purchase more swimwear from X, his competitor located in LA, rather than drab cold Philadelphia?...There is a blub blub blub sound, as he disappears into the deep warm waters of the hot tub.........ah memories..
Hi
We're happy for you, you live a beautiful adventure !
We were afraid for Adam for the tsunami but it's seems everything is okay
Here, everybody feels good. Pacome will be 10 years old next week and we'll celebrate it in Disneyland with 3 of his friends and family
Baptiste will be 4 in April.
Have a nice day
See you soon, maybe this summer
Take care
Yannick
What have I done worng? Joanie, Dwight,
Your adventures over the last several months leave me a bit green around the edges. Here I am still working, flying hither and yon on business and you guys are living the life. What did I (we) do wrong? I guess I have to console myself with the fact that I am a hell of a lot older than you and am off to Big Sky tomorrow for a few days of skiing.
I was through Chicago a week ago Sunday and you didn't answer your phone.
Love,
Jack -- Marion sends her love too!
Ken Deguchi is fine after earth quake. He lives at suburb of Tokyo with his wife. One son and 3 daughters have married with 4 grandkids. Good to be alive after crises.
Good luck and take care!
and the fun continues! Hi Joan and Dwight,
Awesome travels!! Now you can write a book. So glad you will be in Hawaii for Adam's Fire Academy graduation.
Let the fun continue!
All the best, J and L
D629 buyers Glad to know you met Sears friends, Ed Kelson, Don King, & Bill Harrison and had a great time. It was already 40 years
ago when I worked with them as a resident buyer in Sears Osaka Office. They were great comunicaters and gave me clearcut instruction whenever I came up with some problems. Time flies but your blog remided me of the good old days.
Ken Deguchi

March in the Desert Dear Joanie and Dwight,
Sounds like you are going to search until you are so confused you just light somewhere.
I know we said we likely would stop by in March but that is now definitely off the table. Just too many places (Chicago, Rochester, Toronto, Montana, Los Angeles before the end of the month) and too much to do. Not complaining though as it is all good.
Love,
Marion and Jack
