Egypt Hi Dee

Wow! Wow! Great photos Dee. What an experience. Sounds like you're having a wonderful time. Am most envious. Looking forward to the next instalment. Take care, Susan.
Wow Dee, You surly had a onderful experience1 Thanks for allowing us on yr trip, it is so interesting. I hope you dont mind I have given the blog of Doha to some of my family to view.
THanks Dee
Great stuff! Doha is where my father died in front of the Emirs palace along the water front. You have been able to see more of Qatar than I did but I now need to go again because there is so much to see! Go Dee! Awesome pictures.
Great Photos Great photos Dee. I feel like I've done the trip myself - without the expense!! Interesting shot of the Bedouin tent. It looked like it was inside a building. Was it part of a display - or did the owner just yearn for the old days?
By the way, with you being away, I've taken your spot at Business House Golf tonight, 10 March. I just hope I don't have as much hassle as you do in getting a shot accepted. Then tomorrow some of us (Big Boi, Goose, Chopper, Rory, Gordo, Hector, Blobby, Muzza) are off on an exciting trip to strange places too. We're off to the Cossie Club Nationals in exotic Pahiatua, of all places!! Hangovers guaranteed.
Safe travel. PP.
You've crammed in so much already - amazing!! Must be that wacky baccy that's keeping you going at such a pace!! But I think I prefer the gold souk to the livestock - at least I could bring something back from there :) Great to hear all going so well.
Hi Dee
Am negotiating your messages really well and LOVING them.
Really glad that all is well with you and looking forward to your next communication. You are a technical wizz!!
Keep them coming Wow Dee; you're so disciplined! Your photographs and commentary are so interesting - keep them coming. It sure looks hot and dusty.
Going back to your S'pore blog - so glad you enjoyed the place and by the way, the smelly fruit, the 'king' of all fruits according to the locals, is durian. Looking forward to the next instalment. Take care, Susan
We remember Dee This brought back lots of lovely memories of our time in Abu Dhabi. We understand your comment about the photos not doing justice as it is so hard to capture the essence of the colours. Your photos were great, so good to have an update on the new buildings near Cate's place. You too have shared the joy of being with Cate and Nabih. Regards Julia and Naomi (sisters of Cate).
Hi from Dee. I’ve taken a year’s leave from my job of more than 25 year’s teaching and am preparing to set off on my “Big OE”; better late than never! This is a practise, with instructions from son Dan who is an experienced traveller/blogger, to make sure I can work the “Travel Blog” OK before I leave New Zealand on 26th Feb 2006. The photo is me with Dan and Emma yesterday at "Groove in the Park" in Auckland Domain. I hope to visit internet cafes and update weekly but will have to work that one out when I’m on the road.
I’ll be travelling to Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Egypt... full info
