Shithead? KIM!!! Now now.. its acutally 3 Up, 3 Down. but Elaine likes the other title... for obvious reasons.
It all looks and sounds amazing guys!! Thanks for sharing it with everyone!!!
And watch out, by the way, Laura's on the prowl to give puppies to people... she's getting mean.... :) So.. Dennis.. want a dog? :)
I'm glad you love it! Its probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. While your there you should check out Akrotiri, its the Greek version of Pompeii, and i believe much older. Its really neat. I'm so jealous!! Enjoy! Oh yea, go visit the town of Perissa, walk the main street and near the beach is a bar that when Meg and I were there had a Canadian flag hanging in it. It pretty basic looking, made of a darker wood i think. You should see if its still Canadian owned! They might even give you a free drink for being Canadian :)
ME SO JEALOUS! wow greece looks just as beautiful as I have always imagined it, and you guys seem to be having the time of your life!
We miss you guys soooo much here. Lifeteen is not the same without you!(and we all know Mike's minutes were HORRIBLE! haha)
Eat a gyro for me! Me miss them sooo much!
Well Sports Fans.... Sigh... the buzzer has gone... and alas... the knights has lost... the castle has fallen. That's right sports fans. Hockey is officially done for the season. That means we have 4 months without hockey... or more acurately we have four months without the boys playing hockey and us freezing our butts off in the stands. We do however have 4 months of talking about hockey, planning, scheming... come on now... I know you're excited. hehehe.. We unfortunately lost 7-1... yep a little bit of a blow out... I'm sure you can imagine... but no one got kicked out... hehehe... only a few fans froze... I mostly controlled myself... and by mostly I mean not very well. And Kim the glass was all fogged up, just like at those preseason games. It's been a good season Knights... oh and Dennis the general consensus was that we should blame you for the loss... hehehe... just kidding... I blame the OLD man (aka Mike, aka birthday boy) he just doesn't have the energy he had in his youth... hehehe
It was a good series with lots of promise for next year. :) And Dennis Dean had a beer for you upstairs after the game.
Still having Fun! Sounds like you two are still having fun, now stop that, we're all jealous here. Just kidding you only live once or twice and should go for it. Can't wait for the next set of pictures, quit forgetting that cord!
You two take care of each other, love to you both.
Mr. Zacharko says hello, we miss you, have fun and wear lots of sunscreen and don't go to any of those kind of places.
Just cought up (read some somin somin) Hey guys looks like your having fun. You are in my prayers. Please keep us in your prayers too. I won't be able to be at the next game b/c of Confirmation :( Oh well I hope they win. But anywho guys I am glad you are enjoying yourselves!
HEY YOU TWO! Well well...looks like you are having too much fun, I think I might need to quit school and come hang out. I finally had some time today ( my school had a bomb threat and we were all evacuated so I got to come home early!!) hahaha doesnt sound funny but for some reason it didnt seem like a big deal until right now when I just typed it. Anyways I decided to sit down and read all of your blogs and I got really excited. I can't wait to hear the rest of your adventures. Say hello to your future husband for me. Oh you know who you remind me of? The girl in sisterhood of the traveling pants that goes to Greece? Rory from gilmore girls??? Anyways have fun and be safe...but if there is something that is fun that is not safe..do it anyways. ps. Darren and I are really excited for your wedding and we might be going to Cuba right before. Ohh and I come home on like June 27 or something like that. Anyways see you soon!
Sounds fantastic! Hey Guys!! Your blog is so cool to read, it all sounds positively amazing! A little harrowing perhaps, with Dennis doing a vicious version of sand-boarding down the stairs, but sounds tres cool all the things you're getting to see and do! And Kim, just to let you know, Elaine needs you at those hockey games to keep her in line.... lol
Prayers are with you!!
nate
great Hey Kim and Dennis!
Great to read your travelstories and see the pictures! It really looks pretty, and just like the travelbooks and pictures you think of with Greece. I've never been there actually(even thought its 'close'), but I like to go there once too. I hope you will enjoy the rest of your holiday, and I will read the next blogs!
Take care and enjoy!
-x- Ceciel
Im turning green.......... It looks like you guys are having tons of fun together! Today was hot here in deadmonton, but not as nearly hot as it is in Greece, im sure!! I can't wait to read where you're off to, next!!
Wow Great to hear from you.
Glad you are having a great time, keep sending the info we love to get it and love to get back to you about it.
Glad you have helmets for the quad, glad you have transportation, makes your mom feel better Kim.
Looks like Dennis is getting a little burned there. The paper says Greece is 30 and sunny so it's probably hotter there.
For Dennis, Ottawa beat out New Jersey on to the next round, Vancouver is out.
It's nice to have a beach... Wow! This is such an awesome way to share your travels. It sure beats sending postcards which usually arrive home AFTER you do. I've printed everything out, even the pictures so I can share them with Baba. She will be so thrilled!
Just one piece of news from home - I have a part-time job at SEPHORA!
Love you both, Terri and Baba
... um Dennis... Hockey's not untill Wednesday Dennis... you're a few days early...
And Kim I thought the same thing when I saw that picture... hehehe
Mmmmmm... beaches in Greece you lucky ducks. :)
Kim is Dennis letting you drive? When Dean and I rented our skooter in the Gulf Islands and I drove it made Dean very nervous... made me giggle. :)
Happy to hear Hi guys glad to hear you are having a wonderful time, I'm jealous as Greek

Denis
Love Memere, P.S. enjoy the weather here its 0 and pouring rain for 2 days
Sounds wonderful! Dad's home, and it's so good to have him home.
We are so jealous, sounds absolutely next to heaven, except for the stairs. Sounds like you are having a wonderful time too. I'm glad you are staying with someone who is looking out for you two. Can't wait for the next entry and some pictures, it seems so strange to think that it was less than a week ago that we left you at the airport and then to see you two in front of some ancient greek ruin, seems surreal.
Greg update: he has an apartment and a new phone in Vancouver, seems to be doing well and content, but you know him pretty laid back.
Fantastic!! Glad to hear you are enjoying your holiday. The pictures and memories you are sharing are fantastic!! We are envious!!
What a fabulous way to keep in touch and share your memories. We love you and miss you both. Love Mom and Kevin
Jealousy rolling in... Hey happy-in-love escapees! Looks like you made the right choice to leave when you did. It's been pooring here the last couple of days, definitely not nice weather. Looks like you two might be some of the only tanned Edmontonians (and Sherwood Parkians???) when you arrive back in Canada. Wishing you all the best....while I'm stuck here working for the month.
wowie! Im so jeal of you guys. I'm glad to hear you haven't ran into too too many problems. What a pretty pic infront of the acropolis! I was right there with Kaley and Brittany!!!! sooo strange!! did you go into the tiny beautiful church just down the hill? it's actually pretty creepy. take care!
Kat
I'm getting hungry So great to see that you are having such a great time. The sites look incredible hard to absorb it all. The food looks great too! Wish I could eat some of it, but not quite yet. Great to hear from you, hope you worked out everything with your money situation. Anything you need call or write, Dad and I are here for you.
Love you both, miss you both
Mom and Dad
P.S. Talked to Deb in Seattle she said if you see any Starbucks Bears with country names on them she would love them, something about a green apron with the name on it. Just stuff them in a corner of your pack sack.
So Great! This is awesome and so neat to hear all that you guys are doing. It sounds like you guys have been busy. The dogs there might not be so friendly but the puppies here are and are waiting for you to return and pick one! Still trying to convince Elaine and Dean, but that might take a bit. Enjoy your trip and talk to you soon.
Love Laura
Living Vicariously Hi Kim and Dennis, I loved your message from Athens. My experience with the full moon wasn't quite as wonderful as yours. I saw it from the school parking lot and thought..full moon, it figures, no wonder the kids are nutzoid. It was nice to imagine you two under the full moon. Enjoy the memories - even the not so wonderful ones. You will remember them forever. Love from Terri and Baba
May Day explanation from the teacher in me :) So you wanna know what May Day is? Even if you don't here's the explanation. :) May day is a pagan celebration celebrating the first day of summer even though officially summer doesn't start until June 21 (Dean and my anniversary :) Traditionally it has been a celebration of love and fertility and romance. All the young women would get all dressed up and put flowers in their hair and dance around the maypole (that pole with all the ribbons) and try to attract the attention of available young men. In more recent times May Day has also become another sort of Labour Day in some countries in which people take part in political and social demonstrations... which is what you suffered the effects of...
So your romantic evening at the acropolis was very appropriate. :) Now Kim just put some flowers in your hair and go frolic in a field and see if Dennis will chase you. :) No political demonstrations and getting arrested though... hehehe
Great to Hear from you! I think I'm really going to enjoy this bloggy thing. I'm going to love hearing from you guys and hearing about your adventures.
We are totally jealous here to hear about your full moon midnight walk.
If you need any help with the bank problems please let us know what we can do for you to make things go more smoothly.
Looking forward to the next adventure.
Love Mom and Dad and all from Edmonton.
Hockey vs. Greece We lost in overtime on a flukey Ray Bourque special, unfortunately. The game was overall played quite well, though - James was in the zone. I even managed to pick up some garbage to tie it up.
Have fun in Greece!
We are an engaged couple exploring the wonderful world of hostels in Greece and Italy. We have been planning this trip for almost a year and can't wait to hit the road together! It's the beginning of our life-long adventures together exploring the world!... full info
