WOW! Em-
I can't believe I'm blessed with your blog. Your pictures are unbelievable and the fact that I feel like I'm there with you as I read ,is incredible. Cis H.
ANIMALS! The animals and pictures are awesome! I want to hold a koala and feed a kangaroo!! I looked through all your other photos too, and everything looks gorgeous! and random note, I was watching something and ppl were at christchurch and i thought of you, tho can't remember what it was. lol. miss you!
hi hey em, sounds like you've had some interesting experiences before even getting to the university, which also sounds amazing and unique! and, i agree, yay for internet! lol.
It's really nice. ^__^ I intend to upload the rest of my photos tonight (so like 2/3 in the morning for you), having done some last night. It's not too hard but slightly annoying, but it makes the blog look so much better (and it's very fun to see where I went rather than just hear about it). Anyways, love, I will talk to you later! I miss you like crazy. <3 xoxoxo
Yay! You've got internet! Hi Sweetie! It's great to see that you've got unlimited internet and can finally write a blog at your leisure! Even though you told me all about your adventures on the phone, it's really neat to read about it too. I hope you sleep well and have a great day today!
Hey Mrs. Hinchey! I'm glad you're loving the blog! I'm glad my mom gave you the address. I'll be posting lots of photos soon, as soon as I get back to Brisbane and get my internet working. ^__^
US Politics abroad Really? That's pretty cool! I haven't heard too much, but have been in pretty remote areas... I don't even really know what's up with the politics in the US today. I know lots of Aussies are really interested in what's going on, however, and I feel like some of them know more than me about the debates!
Hi Emily! I'm having a great time reading your blog. Just a follow-up to your LA visit... You were closer to political celebrities than you realized: the VIP event in Hollywood that you witnessed preparations for was a Democratic presidential debate! What's the press coverage of the U.S. presidential race like in NZ and Australia?
it sounds amazing so far, you always find the most interesting places to look through! i will love looking at those pictures when you upload them. hope you enjoy your tour!
hey there stranger hey em, glad to hear that the start of your trip off to australia was pretty good. sounds like you are having a great time in LA, including that great tar pit at la brea animal thing! hahaha i agree about the wax museam in london, that was just an awesome experience. anyways, hope your flight to australia goes well and that you get all settled in good. i'll keep checking your blogs for updates....
I'm abroad this semester at the University of Queensland, in Brisbane, Australia.
Stay on top of my scholastic adventures and wild wanderings!

I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,
Of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons,
I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror
The wide brown land for me!
