Winning smile. Hmmmm....I am guessing the fist was used more readily than the smile in this scenario. Am I right? Glad you got there safely. Is your Skype working? xx
Congrats on getting there! Hey hey!!!
well done on getting there with all that luggage! Am glad you got to the house safely. Thanks for the update - to the extent we all know what you ate on the plane - v cute!!
hope all is going really well with your Ghanaian family.
Look forward to hearing more from you xxx
Here we go again! This is like deja vu ..so what will be the main theme this time food, food food or more wild adventures doing a variety of daring exploits. Just remember when collecting your souvenirs that there are only so many boxes I can store in the loft!... keep having fun x
Sorry Well, it's only taken me a week to post a comment.. sorry! I've just kept running out of time on my vouchers, thus proving that I am a crap friend - I hope you can forgive me ;op. I'm home in 7 days!
Better late than never!! Can't believe that it's a year since your return!! I remember the day well...I picked you up from Heathrow and we had a 5 hour drive home...great I thought I can catch up on all the gossip and hear the final episode of your travels....wrong...you fell asleep, I drove and I'm still waiting to fill in the blank bits! So I'm really looking forward to the "blogs revisted " also it may make sense of some of the strange items your brought home which are still lurking in your bedroom at home...now renamed " A shrine to Clare" ! finally ..if there is a publisher out there reading this...I'm her agent and deserve at least a 40% cut of the royalties! xx
bank holiday weekend in sedgefield You can tell I'm on hols, time to play nice on the computer! Barnaby bear has been filling me in on his world travels, and together we have a made a power point presentation, (with only a little help from my guru Hayley) on his time in Australia, great pics thanks sooooo much, the children will enjoy this lesson loads ( or else). Just back from Benidorm went for four days (long enough) cant stand the pace! Enjoyed it was an experience suppose everyone should do it once, preferably when they are 20! Great news about Martain joining you fantastic opportunity, wish I could! But unfortunatly have to work, take care love a.annexxxxx
What ...no mention of food!! Well...I think this is the first blog where the delights of the bakery, butcher, cafe etc are not recounted in minute detail....does that mean you're not eating ? you look so slim and sylph like in the lycra suit . As for " does my bum look big in this" I think you've done a fantastic job of cropping the only photo where we could have seen it...there again there is always the one of us two in the red stinger suits! X
Wow! You look like you're having a great time, a genuine water babe, able to stand up first time. Welldone!! Good luck with your 2nd lesson... you'll be doin the handstand on the board trick in no time.
Wet and Wild! Well I can't say I'm surprised - nothing you do surprises me anymore !

I love Cairns! Cairns! At last you reach the best part of Ozzy land! Just make sure you go to Cape Tribulation and check out the Daintree river....
Take care,
Rob
Not a bad way to spend 6 weeks! Party, party, party. What is it with the youth of today? In my day we had a good protestant work ethic and stayed in on Sundays. Then came Bacardi. Tut tut.
Have a fab time!
Nick xx
hope you don't mind Hiya Claire. Hope you don't mind me getting in touch. Have followed your travels with Claire while she uses my computer to catch up. Just thought that i would say hi and that it has been great fun reading about your goings on. It's great to hear you are having a fab time and i hope that you continue to do so...x

Happy New Year To think you spent Christmas in 30^C heat and I spent it at -30^C on top of mountain, how silly am I?! Keep dreaming and Happy New Year!!xx
Ding Dong. Have a wonderful Christmas and an even better New Year merrily on high. (or down low in your case). What I wouldn't give to be in 30 degress of heat right now rather than -10C and covered in stinky snow. Grrr. Grrr. ;-p

Have a nice sunny crimbo Now then Clarey! Really enjoyed the e mail, getting round to the idea of going over to oz myself next year for the ashes. hope you have a fab xmas and new year. Its really mild over here at the moment-bit strange. Its xmas eve and ive got to go to work at 5 all night, finish at 9 crimbo morning (bah humbug eh!) but it wont stop me from getting into the newly refurbed white house for my dinner time tipple. Anyhow have a good un - be thinking bout ya,
Stephen. x
Ps Ice bar looks cool - think we should turn 42nd st into one!
Beware of Rob's family... My aunt lives within walking distance from Manly beach! It's amazing how Aussies in their winter don't even go near the beach. If you bump into an Irish guy on Christmas Day, with an Australian twang and looking like a lobster, you've probably met my Uncle!
Take care!
Hey Clare
Well this sounds amazing, I really want to go to Australia, so I think I'm going to have to make it a trip soon!
Glad to hear you're well and I wish you a very Happy Christmas!! Lots of love Louise
I graduated from the University of Manchester, UK, in 2005 having completed a 3 year Law degree. I had a great time being a student, but it made me realise that there is more to life than becoming a professional... so I thought a year off after Uni would be an ideal time to see a bit of the world, before I had to grow up and get a proper job! I had an amazing time thanks to many of the amazing people I met along the way.
There came a time, when professional studies were over, I HAD to get a proper job. This was fun, but only for 18months or so... before I set off on another adventure to We... full info
